Sesame & Poppy Seed Bagels x 4 220g self raising flour 250g GREEK yoghurt (low fat or no fat ok as long as it is Greek yoghurt) 1 tbsp Sesame seeds 1 tbsp Poppy seeds 1 egg for eggwash (I used just the yolk for a really golden look plus the seeds need something to stick to) pop the self raising flour into a large bowl and add the greek yoghurt, feel free to season to your taste at this point. Mix well forming a dough, which will be sticky (using wet hands will keep the sticky dough from sticking to your fingers) gently pop onto a floured surface, patting into a ball (no kneading required at all) cut into 4 equal halves and role out a long sausage shape, and connect the ends - these will likely not ‘stick’ together but once cooking in the AF they will bond together. Brush with either milk, melted butter or egg this facilitates the seeds to stick to the surface plus adds a nice golden colour. cook on BAKE setting 180c/350f for 10 mins (if freezing for later use - do not add any further mins at this point) Cosori DB 180c/350f 10 mins + added 3 mins without flipping Ninja : 180c/350f 10 mins + added 2 mins flipped from FROZEN, allow to DEFROST first: pop in AF upside down 160c BAKE setting for 5 mins, then right way up for further 5, adjust mins depending on your AF
Yum! Gotta try this recipe. Instead of rolling the dough into "sausages, I make balls, flatten them out, a bit then poke a hole in the middle using my thumb.
These look AMAZING. I will definitely be trying them. Thank you Kerry for your honest and wholesome videos. I love them. True home cooking. So much better than all the silly Instagram ones x
Hi There Dear Kerry , Those Bagels look fantastic, I use the recipe for pizza base but haven’t tried Bagels Thankyou there be with are Breakfast for Christmas morning , Have a wonderful Christmas with everyone and hope all your wishes come True in the Happy New Year 2024 Xxx Gail Xxx

Hi Kerry you have made my Christmas! I’m calling these ‘OMG Kerry Bagels’! I’ve made four in the Gourmia and four in my baby Cosori and both worked really well. Love your channel (merry Christmas to you and all your lucky boys) and thanks to you we will never be without bagels🇬🇧☘️🥳🥳💃🏼🥂🥂🌲🌲🌲
Wow, thanks for another awesome recipe idea. Like that you don't have to boil them before cooking. Saw an idea from Aldi, your dinner roll recipe enhanced with garlic, butter and spices or cheese, shaped in a Christmas tree. One at the top, then next row two rolls etc. Pull apart rolls. Probably use Corsori. I love your bloopers at the end. Hey be proud and be human like the rest of us and use them un the beginning... especially during the Christmas craziness. Use it as an excuse 😂. Merry Christmas to you and your family and Valerie.
Ooo I love the sound of that Donna😋😋 will definitely try that, have a Christmas tree cutter as well plus I bought more of that yoghurt!! Glad you like the bloopers😄 I'll keep then at the end, if at the beginning it might put people off, youtube is a fickle beast lol. I love that you love them thou Donna, that's so good to hear🥰🥰🥰🥰
Another great recipe. I am going to make these today, might try a one with icing on the top with butter and jam in the middle, what the heck it’s Christmas
What a great simple recipe Kerry. Hope you and your family have a wonderful Christmas and thank you for all your vlogs I have really enjoyed them. Looking forward to more. Once again happy Christmas to you and all your subscribers.

Thanks for the recipe. I jumped up and made some. Easy peasy, opened the ninja and mine didnt look like yours, then i noticed i had used plain flour.. Silly me. I split then and toasted with butter and jam. Yum.
Hi Kerry hope you all have a great xmas, ive been using this recipe for pizza bases in the past, but im blown away by the bagels i think i will be doing these often xxx
Wow om absolutely amazed at these, I love my bagels so definitely making these 😋 I have a pot of same Greek yogurt in fridge, it's coconut mind you and not sure if that would work ? ❤ PS outakes were hilarious 😂
The recipe worked well and I fancy giving it a go and planting a fried egg on each half for breakfast. Wishing you a very Merry Christmas and New Year.
Lovely, some cream cheese and bacon on those would be so good,do you think they would be low on calories if I used fat free greek yoghurt, obviously not with the cheese and bacon 😂,another great video Kerry
They look simple and easy to make. Added Greek yogurt to my on Line order. Thankyou for another great demonstration. Merry Christmas to you and your’s and to the Channel ‘Family’ xxx

Evening Kerry, hope you are well. Oh You sound like you have that awful cold everyone has been getting. Had to pause the video there to order greek yoghurt onto my tesco shop. What a nightmare trying to get greek and not "style," but I managed to get one. I'm paying that wee bit dearer for it, but I don't mind as a treat. Wow, Kerry, those look amazing. I'm going to make them for Christmas morning to have with some bacon and square sausage 😋. I'm glad you done the freeze and then reheat. Thank you for that. Another great vlog. Get plenty of rest, please, and get yourself better xxxxx Jac 💚❤️
Aww thank you Jacs, feel a lot better🥰🥰 I'm blown away how good they were, definitely going to make more greek yog/SR flour combos, yum yum. A replacement bag will be on it's way soon but I don't think itll make it before Christmas! Did you get the church plots to do some grow your own? Love a square sausage! 😋😋😋💕
@budgetcookinguk So glad you are feeling better, you really didn't sound your usual self. They looked bloody delicious, especially at the end with cream cheese & McCoy's (or alternative). I told you not to bother about a replacement Kerry, it was my choice to choose that colour but thank you so very much. We didn't get a chance to speak about it on Saturday as it was so busy but in a good way. The kids loved it. When Santa came in, they all stopped eating their piece n sausage and sat with their mouths wide open. It was just so magical. I will drop them a message and find out. Nothing beats a square sausage 😋 👌 xxx Jac 💚❤️
@@jacquelinebuist1128 oh that's sounds lovely (Saturday and the kids seeing Santa🎅💕) theres loads of time til spring (for the growing patch😄👍) oh Jacs you've got to have a good plot25 bag to walk about with, think of the advertising!! 💪😄💕 lidl McCoy version, just as good but a lot cheaper 😋💕💕
@budgetcookinguk it was a fantastic day. The 2 hours flew past right enough, and my trust tower a/f cooked 5 lorne perfectly. I just want to get in there early enough so that we can get the pick of the best beds, haha. Ohhh, nothing wrong with a bit of free advertising, and I will be using the bag daily even if it's just to put my keys in 😂😂. I thought they might have been lidls own, we have aldis and they are delicious, more than likely made in the same factory 😉 xxxxx 💚 ♥️
@@jacquelinebuist1128 I've lots of runner beans Jacs, if you get the little plots let me know and I'll send you some, got lots of other seeds I can send too😄👍💕
Oh Kerry those look wonderful and will definitely be making them, may I ask why you chose bake to re heat instead re heat? I never know what would be the best? Thank you for another good one!.
Thank you so much, that's lovely 😀💕💕 I've tried reheat function only a few times, it's too slow I've found. So I always bung whatever it is on the same function I originally cooked it on. So if reheating sausages or chips (chips recooked in AF come out so good esp chip shop chips) I use Airfry function, bready stuff I use bake. Hope that makes sense 😀👍💕💕
A crisp/chip sarnie is a gift from the foodie gods Donna, you are a woman of taste😀👍💕 We call them crisps, always makes me chuckle the differences in our UK/US language
then just have them plain. Still an excellent bagel and a heck of a lot cheaper (should I say "less expensive" LOL ) must be politically correct in this day and age. Best of the Season to you and yours from Canada
Sesame & Poppy Seed Bagels x 4
220g self raising flour
250g GREEK yoghurt
(low fat or no fat ok as long as it is Greek yoghurt)

Brush with either milk, melted butter or egg this facilitates the seeds to stick to the surface plus adds a nice golden colour.
cook on BAKE setting 180c/350f for 10 mins (if freezing for later use - do not add any further mins at this point)
Cosori DB 180c/350f 10 mins + added 3 mins without flipping
Ninja : 180c/350f 10 mins + added 2 mins flipped
from FROZEN, allow to DEFROST first: pop in AF upside down 160c BAKE setting for 5 mins, then right way up for further 5, adjust mins depending on your AF
