I very much prefer the way this show and Andor approach their storytelling - building upon themselves and taking time to let the story and characters breathe and develop naturally rather than just moving from one fight to another. It always baffles me when SW fans want the movies and shows to be like video games.

Sarcastic, sassy, or savage droids are a highlight/riot in the Mandalorian, Book of Boba Fett, and Ahsoka. 🤣 I certainly think there's a bigger reason why the Fallen Jedi Master is doing all this than just aiming for more power and unleash change through another war.
Did anybody else notice this - Ahsoka turned towards the guy who shot first and yelled, "For the Empire", even before he got up! I can't believe I didn't notice it at first. I love it when they add such subtle yet important details!
As a first-timer to anything Rebels, this was a nice start. I'm enjoying the look of the characters, I like seeing Ahsoka in action, I like the tone of the show and I'm digging the music. The story is going to be an intriguing one, for sure. I'm really interested in seeing how this series, possibly, sets up the Dave Filoni Mandoverse movie. Also, Godspeed, Ray Stevenson. May the Force be with him and his family.

Never seen rebels. Never seen ahsoka. But just seeing an R2 droid and everyone goes "CHOPPER!" makes me feel like im seeing friends see other friends who they haven't seen since high school.
I haven't watched Rebels, and I'm loving this show. The best part to me is how Filoni takes what already exists and deepens it with almost perfect pacing and always keeps focused on the story, theme, and character.
C'mon that scene at 12:29 is weird if Ezra and Sabine have only a platonic sibling-type relationship. Most women wouldn't stroke the cheek of a man they consider their brother. I think Filoni dropped the ball on this piece of the lore. A romance subplot was a key element in both the original trilogy and the prequels. Romance is part of the fabric of Star Wars, but so far we haven't had a single fulfilled romance subplot in any of the live-action series.

I have a sneaking suspicion the bad guys won't find Thrawn at the end of this quest of theirs. To the best of my knowledge, the guy never had the Force or any kind of psychic powers, so Morgan saying that he's "calling" to her sounds off to me. If I were to hazard a guess, I'd say there's something else out there. Something that wants to get into the established galaxy we know, that Morgan will unintentionally provide the means to. A trap, for everyone 😟

May have been an immune reaction against any number of things, and is a deep loss for us SW fans. His presence was magnificent, and news of his death struck me hard. Thank you, Ray.

I watched clone wars, so I do know who a lot of these people are from that, but as I grew into adulthood I couldn't get past the animated shows. Its sad, I know, but I really hate that style, enough to make me not want to watch a show altogether. However, as someone who is not an idiot, and still reads things on the internet, I kept up enough to know what was going on.
