Some general tips for commentating i can give: Keep talking, you wanna have as low amount of silent parts in the video as possible. Get a cohost, especially if you're just starting out, you'll be able to bounce back from each other and have an easier time learning how to commentate well For videos like these where you're answering questions, it's normally better to prepare some bullet points or gather your thoughts, then talk about them in a coherent manner afterwards, but since you said you wanted to practise commentating, its perfectly fine for this video. Regarding the Video: FE11 is also my favorite FE game, and i'm kinda sitting in the same boat with the "you gotta add new rulesets to bring back the chaos", which is why i did H5 No Wolfgar, no warp, no ballista, no xane, and am now doing no UI. I actually thought of making a small hack which just swaps around the Classes of units so that A set units all become B set units and vice versa. DSFE hacking is not very advanced (essentially just nightmare and manual hex editing) but if you ever have an idea in mind let me know. Agreed on FE6, it's my second favorite FE game and still manages to totally fuck me over at times, especially chapter 7. I know there is a concrete strategy where you rescuedrop roy into position, but i can't be bothered to do that. Regarding Garcia: One fun thing about him is he is one of the few units in FE8 who can have a 5x5 same affinity support, in this case Fire x Fire with Ross and Neimi, which ends up giving him a whopping +5 ATK, +25 Hit, Avoid, Crit. That means even IF he is stat screwed to hell, he'll still be super useful if you're willing to bring those two to support him "(Bord) became the mascot of the channel" Lmao i was about to mention how the same happened to me with Vyland, but you mentioned it as i was typing it out Kinda agree on shiida, i tend to always lose my pegasus knights quite early. She certainly is super useful while she's around tho, especially after chapter 3 Regarding Astram: His STR growth is super high, so if you let him throw a few hand axes to get to C rank ( he needs 15 axe exp as a warrior), and make him a warrior he can almost immediately use poleaxes, and bows, which can be pretty nice against cavs, armors and wyverns. Although he will absolutely get ORKO'd by all enemies unless he gets a shitton of HP levels, lucky SPD levels, or 1-2 speed wings as a Warrior. Making him a Horseman and just letting him chip enemies here and there for levels may not be the worst idea either. Certainly not the best unit, but imo very fun to use. I also find it kinda funny how we seem to agree on a lot of things, i never play much in terms of romhacks either, favorite games are the same, loving bad units, ironmans, etc. Pretty based ngl
Brave bow Garcia was the MVP for me on SS, people say that go with hero class on him, but the warrior class is really good, having archer units with 30 atk is fun.
Nice job on your first recorded video, BUT the music is far too loud relative to your voice. At some parts of the video, the music overpowers your voice. Also, based FE4 opinions. Azel is fun to use, especially when you get that sick mage knight promo.
Ah, someone else who can go on tangents over small things. Commendable, but I suppose the video length explains why they can't be a regular thing :D Btw, your voice is pretty much what I was expecting. Very nice 👌
