Playing organ I shared this masterpiece -being one of the most beautiful „prayer” of J. S. Bach- at the time of communion of my son´s wedding mass.
Very nice. I had to watch it twice because the first time I grabbed my copy of the Orgelbüchlein to read along. 😊
Au milieu de toutes ces pièces virtuoses (que j’apprécie tout autant) un choral méditatif et qui élève l’âme, ça fait du bien. C’est reposant. Et surtout aussi bien interprété.
I recall playing this piece for auditions just after graduation... and trio sonata #6. The sonata being one of the required assignments for the undergraduate degree, and having learned both under Dr. Charles Mader, I got the job!
Nicely done. Thanks!!
Simplesmente lindo! Muito obrigada a vocês dois por tudo!
I've always loved this Chorale Prelude. Thank you (and Tom) for sharing this fine performance.
Splendid, moving performance
Beautiful playing. Merci.
One of my favourites from the Orgelbuchlein. Good to hear it.
Que belleza!!! Y ese final con "tercera de picardía", precioso.😘👏👏
Greatly enjoy every one of your videos. Thank you for sharing and allowing us to hear incredible instruments from across the world.

♥️👏👏
Machine, turn back, now.
Is it me or is the 16th note rhythm played quite irregularly, like at 0:16-0:22? Many notes seem to be held a little bit longer while others are shorter than one expects from a straight 16th note rhythm, in an irregular, non rubato-like way. I do like the registration that is used, but unfortunately these rhythms keep distracting me.
Look up "Notes inegales"
@@orgelmeister2 Thank you. I understand, although this is the first time that I hear notes inégales executed in a way like this in a Bach piece. The organist is a professional whom I appreciate a lot, as I'm a big fan of this channel, and I'm not the one to criticize his playing, but for me personally, the distraction it causes is larger than its added value.
I don’t play organ but what in holy hell it that title
Don't you play your LONG organ?
