For the record, the Vietcong and the North-Vietnamese were among the most violent insurgents in the 20th Century. They were not some lovely people.

"Actually, I think it's more immoral to use less force than necessary, than it is to use more. if you use less force, you kill off more of humanity in the long run, because you are merely protracting the struggle."
"Apply whatever force it is necessary to employ, to stop things quickly. The main thing is stop it. The quicker you stop it, the more lives you save."

I'm enjoying his stories that aren't about Watergate

I think Watergate is a rather dull subject in such a Presidency.

    “Christmas bombing” on December 18th
The Democrat playbook has always included creating slanted often dishonest terms.

What a man, he came right after Johnson , every other politician would criticize him for war and sell him self even better but he went opposite
I wish some like Nixon as president for my country

I like Nixon somewhat personally, but what did he do that was so great for conservative people? Moderate libs wil trot out a whole list of legislation he signed, but thats not the question

There would be no conservative voices in media at all... We'd still be under the tyranny of the big three television that works and you wouldn't have any contrary avenues of communication...

But I will also say that he was a foreign policy president.. I would say the best foreign policy president America's ever had... His domestic policies are riddled with issues that are contrary to conservative principles.. but foreign policy during that time period was number one and the domestic situation in America was just absolutely insane... Most Republicans supported price controls and tight, tight government control over the economy

That’s why William F Buckley Jr supported Nixon’s primary opponent in 1972.

Man imagine if Watergate wouldn’t have happened. He made other mistakes obviously but amazing to see a truly thought provoking Republican lol
