Sure theres no removeable battery, but.. At least samsung didn't smoke something they shouldn't have, and remove the 3.5mm jack.
Come join us on the Note 4 side. You get to have both! I have a 8000mah battery in mine, that requires a thicker back. A IR port! A MHL port that works wonders with hdmi. And it STILL works with the consumer gear vr if you are willing to cut its edges slightly.
Wait for 3 years when Samsung will also ditch the 3.5 mm headphone jack.

+Bryan Willis yeah.. I had the note 4 for 2 1/2 yrs.. that was the last great note they came out with. notes were made to be two things powerhouse and pushing the envelope on features... hopefully this one has some great features 1

It's almost exactly the same phone as the s7 edge which isn't a bad thing but I feel like I waited for this phone for no reason I should have just got the s7 edge from the beginning

Me two i waited 3 phone less weeks because i thought i would want the note 7, now i'm not sure which phone to get. I do prefer the note 7's square look a bit more but i'm not gonna wait another 2 weeks for that i thought it was going to release on the 2nd also smh, i'm just going for the s7 edge now!

Can anyone help? I'm looking to move away from iPhone 6 Plus to the Note 7. I've read the points people have made about it being an S7 Edge. I like the idea of a pen to write notes etc. My question is, is it easy to transfer iCloud content to a cloud based service that samsung provides (if at all)?

Hey guys I need a little help. So currently I don't have a phone and while I am excited about the note 7 I'm not sure if I should wait for it or just buy the s7 edge which would be better for my wallet than the note 7. But I keep hearing that people accidentally touch stuff due to the really curved screen of the s7 edge and it's screen cracks easy and rumors say all that got fixed in the note 7. Any help?

I'm pretty sure they made it for people upgrading from atleast the previous note. Ifyou have an S7 then you probably don't need to upgrade your 8 month old phone

The screens are not the same, the note 7 is a HDR Super AMOLED slightly better at whites, color, details and more brighter image and videos without looking overexposed, it reproduce a better viewing experience.

Its the next big thing for displays, note 7 is the first smartphone that has HDR thats why it only works on amazon, and soon all new flagship smartphones gonna have it aswell. If you look att TVs, all new TVs has HDR. Like i say, the next big thing for smartphones.

does the iris scanner work with glasses or sunglasses? also can it be unlocked by a picture of the owner's face?
It should work with transparent sunglasses and glasses. If the eye wear you're wearing is tinted or colored thats questionable!
It shines an infrared light onto your face which you can't see but the scanner does so it also works at night and with glasses. They claim it won't work with a picture.
The problem with the iris scanner is it takes several steps before the phone will unlock using the iris scanner. It's much faster to use the finger print.

It's kind of a hit or miss. If you really need a new phone then go with the Note 7, if not then wait.

I have an edge and it's fantastic. I do like the additional retina scanner and s pen functionality though. If you can afford the little extra $ then go for the note 7. Really the only consideration i would have is if i could hold it comfortably in one hand. I like to be able to one hand my phone and it's just barely comfortably possible with the s7 edge. If they made a 5.5" note 7 then i'd bee feeling a little dissapointed that i got the s7 edge a month ago.

I have the Note 3, and it has a 13 megapixel camera. Why would the megapixels go down on the 7 ? that doesnt make any sense. the quality of the camera is supposed to go up not down. wth is up with that?

I have an S7 edge and the edge many times gets in the way when holding it and trying to operate the device. it's really annoying. I'm thinking about buying so the screen doesn't think I'm pushing other buttons. I love the gif maker as well.

I still have my note 3, and I still love it. The Note 3 was the last phone with dual antennas able to simultaneously use voice and data. All phones released after the Note 3 are equipped with a different chip set and antennas... at least on sprint that is.

Rooted + usb-c sounds pretty nice. Onyx looks really clean. Wish they had beefed the internals a bit more then it would be perfect.
