How are you liking the fan? I have the same bike and it seems to get pretty hot at lower speeds cruising around with my brothers klx140. Thinking of getting this same fan.
I love it man, it's awesome. It always brings the temperature down, even when I shut the bike off, if it's hot it'll stay running until it drops the temp. I also like the temp gauge, it takes a lot of guessing away 😜
Is the display battery powered or is it powered by the bike battery? If it is running off the bike have you had any issues with it draining the battery?
@@lucallain5 It's powered by the bike battery, no issues really, I've had it sitting for 2 months last year and the bike started up, however another time I had it sitting for 3 months and that's when the battery went flat. The display gave me a hint when that happened too, instead of showing the temp it showed this - - - I highly recommend this fan, it does an amazing job when riding in the woods and tough slow speed trails. In my opinion it should have came from the factory like that.
Why did you stick it on the left side instead of the right side which all the KTM‘s have their fans on the right side? Did it specify what side to put it on??
There's a lot more room on the left side. The right hand radiator is smaller and has a bunch of coolant hoses making it hard to install it there, at least on this bike. It doesn't tell you specifically which side to put it. I guess it just depends where it fits, for example the DRZ 400 has it on the left side from the factory.
can you fit one on if you have aftermarket radiator guards, i’ve got the works connection radiator guards and i’d like to get a fan but it just doesn’t seem like i’ll have enough room for both
I'm not absolutely sure, but if I would take a guess I would say no. You can always do some fabrication tho, maybe cut the guards a little and have the fan installed as far away as possible so it doesn't interfere.
Yup, totally happy with it, it does an amazing job during hot days when I get stuck in trails. It takes all the thinking of overheating away, I highly recommend it 👌
I dk if you overload the bike with all accessories possible what would happen but so far so good with the fan. It only kicks on for a few seconds at a time anyway and it uses little power.
Dude thank you for such a detailed tutorial and explanation. Truly helping 🙏🏼🔥
You're very welcome man! I'm very glad to hear you liked the video and that it was useful! 🙏🙌

Cool, thank you. I think ill throw one on my kx250f. Great video!!
Thanks man and you're very welcome! You'll be satisfied with it, I rode the bike today in the woods and the fan worked flawlessly 👌

Great video! Hey what bark busters are those? I bought some and they didn’t fit my kx edit: just seen you did a video on them :)
Thank you for liking my video! 🙌
They're Acerbis, I have a video installing them and I have the link in the description of the video.
It is really perfect ❤❤❤wow . I love it 😻 ❤. I have a question for you about your dirt bike 🏍️. It is similar installation to hayabu❤
Thanks man! 😊
The good thing with the Hayabusa is that it comes with a fan from the factory 💪
@@MototalkUSA opps sorry I forget hayabu have fan factoryinstalled already . I love your content
Hayabusa is my dream 🛌 bike

Will this really help for overheating in trail rides?
@@mohammadwalker982 oh yeah! I love this fan, it gives a piece of mind big time. They should come from the factory like that.
Does the stator have enough wattage to keep up with demand? I had thought the 250's had a 35 Watt stator and that isn't much wattage.
I haven't had any issues at all and the fan was running frequently when I was riding during the summer.
You still happy with the Tusk fan? I just bought a 2024 KX250X and want a fan to minimize overhearing.

The stock stator is fine on kx250 to run a fan and accessory’s?

Could you please share the part # for this kit
Absolutely, It's in the description box of the video.
