Guys like this make sure they pick women with very submissive personalities. Women who won't question their whereabouts or odd behaviors. This allows them to operate under the cloak of decency by being married while commiting crimes.
To me it's a pointless waste of time and manpower when the case is so old the perp is prob dead and the family has long since forgotten even when they finally figure out who did it. That 56yo case is a prime example. Better to focus on the cases where the perp is probably still alive rather than prob dead. Statues of limitations exist for a reason, mainly to prevent waste of taxpayer resources. 1/3 of murders they get away with it, such ancient cases are part of those.

It's not the first time, you have to remember that sometimes a killer does everything right, and back then they were very very limited on forensic knowledge. Little did these perfect killers know that the struggle their victim put up 40 or 50 yrs ago would lead to DNA evidence 50 yrs later.
I think it is a use of older terminology (I'm assuming the narrator' script is based on news reports of the time). Many cases were referred to as "cold" in that era if there were no clear suspects or physical evidence that could be used at the time such as fingerprints. Detectives worked the case but with no real direction. Like a bloodhound that has lost the scent they were following a "cold trail"; going in the direction that seemed likely but with no clear direction provided by the case. Your only hope of solving the case was a suspect confession.
Marcia Baker yes it happens way too much! Where I live in Baltimore they don’t do any investigating unless they know it’s murder! It doesn’t matter what you say begging them to look into something! My mother’s husband had been plotting to do something to her, he kept telling everyone she only had 5 years to live! Would try and say everyone was trying to poison her and he was worried mind you she didn’t leave her home or bed due to whatever he had done for a few years to her! Long story short my brother called in the am he told him she wasn’t feeling good and was laying on the side of the bed she was so tired she didn’t get into bed ummm ok, he called back after work she was still on the floor he stated he tried to wake her earlier but wouldn’t respond my brother went over to check and she want breathing called emergency when they get there the first thing he stated when they went in and asked what happened for her to get where she was he stated idk I never put my sugar pills in her pill bottle for her to mistaken my pill for hers! At the hospital they took us in a room and wanted to know who had been with her and what all happened this idiot states the exact same thing they of course were concerned as her diagnosis was a low sugar coma her sugar level dropped and they couldn’t figure out how it had dropped the way it did without any sugar problems! We begged them to investigate they refused to do anything! There was motive from her lawyer telling the police that he had brought her in and she was not herself her father had it when it passed nothing was to ever be left to him it was a pack they made in writing the lawyer had! My mother also would never had put any of the properties in his name even the ones she bought on her own not left by her father! She wanted to change the entire will and place her husband as the beneficiary to receive everything not one thing was to be left to either of her children or any grandchildren! They were married for 35 yrs and not once would she change the will no matter how he threatened her! She was too scared to ever leave him! Less than one week after her signing everything over to him was the day she went into a coma and eventually did pass and I know for a fact he killed her but the police not one would help!

Guys like this make sure they pick women with very submissive personalities. Women who won't question their whereabouts or odd behaviors. This allows them to operate under the cloak of decency by being married while commiting crimes.

It's fantastic to see justice for these old cases.
Not all of them. The scumbag who killed the girl scout back in '63 is still running around scot free.
And the other scumbag lived 60 years :(
With advanced dna technology more old cases have a good chance of being solved.
@@ADSuri Meh I doubt he's still "running around" at his age. Prob dead by now anyway, 57 years ago.
You call that justice????!!!!!
I love to see titles like this. Makes it seem like there’s hope and dedication in the world, and you shouldn’t give up.
@@fvckyoutubescensorshipandt2718 .......That actually makes sense. But, if these smaller cities don't have new unsolved cases, which many don't. They may as well do something, instead of trying to solve petty crimes. But, I do get what your saying.

The cops gave up after ONE WEEK?!
It's not the first time, you have to remember that sometimes a killer does everything right, and back then they were very very limited on forensic knowledge. Little did these perfect killers know that the struggle their victim put up 40 or 50 yrs ago would lead to DNA evidence 50 yrs later.
That's always suspicious. Makes you wonder who the primary suspect is related to or maybe that he's a cop.

Police considered Nancy Vogel's case cold after only a single week of investigation??
Yeah that's fkd up
That doesn't make sense. Sounds like a very lax attitude
I had to repeat that part. I couldn't believe that!
Bloody hell this was perfect timing. Big shoutout to you for posting all these videos back to back. Youre amazing!

Anthony Nieves calm down turbo. If you didn’t know this already, we live in a capitalist society. Reasonable people can disagree, unreasonable people use rhetoric arguments like calling someone’s views “toxic” in lieu of discussing the relative pros and cons of premium memberships. It is not my mindset that leads to needing premium memberships. It is world-conquering, profit hungry corporations that create the issue. Justice needs an "Alford" Conviction for cases like this where a killer serving a life sentence confesses to murders, but is not charged or tried. When overwhelming forensic evidence exists, the killers living or dead should not get away without a conviction. Merely closing the case is not justice.
