Denko The Kaufmann County murders are terrifying. A narcissistic sociopath named Eric Williams killed two prosecutors and one of their wives because they successfully prosecuted Williams for theft of county property. He lost his job as justice of the peace, position in the National Guard and his law license as a result. Kauffman is a very small county. It took awhile to solve the crimes, even though many believed Williams was the murderer. It took a long time to prove that, though. The poor folks in the area were terrified, and gun sales soared. Really sad, but fascinating case.

@@outdoorloser4340 True. Those types of crimes are usually from someone in sight of the house or within a mile of the home. Draw a circle 1 mile around the house and I'll bet the killer is located within it.

What a godawful town to live in. If the police and sheriffs offices were so afraid of Richard talking why didn't they just kill him? Admittedly most of them were involved or complicit in some of the women's murders, but it might have saved a few of them. The FBI really dropped the ball on this one; even if evidence was missing surely they had enough circumstantial evidence to turn one who could have brought down others. This is unbelievable in this day and age. I think had I Ilived in this town and given the plethora of deserted roads I would have enacted some vigilante justice and unobtrusively killed the bastards one at a time. What a shithole. What kind of monster mothers raised these men?
Agree. I would jave done the same starting with the Sherriff. Dirty cops. Covering up his son's crimes and murders. That whole town is messed up. They need to wipe it from the map.
Yeah I kind of find it funny how often people think it's a mannequin even though one time I was serving a short sentence in prison and I behaved myself enough to get on work release and it was an ass busting job as a trash man and I dumped trash a huge heavy trash barrel out and there is a doll in there as well as red paint and it knocked me on my ass out of just shock
So true, never is. I'ts a shame too because if it was a mannequin just ONCE, that would save some kid out fishing, or a couple walking their dog, or some transit workers cleaning up a stretch of highway etc. Save them from a lifetime of nightmares and/or psychotherapy. I've been OBSESSED w/the Jennings 8 case since the very first time I watched the 5 part docuseries based on the (PHENOMENAL !!!) book, "Murder in the Bayou, Who Killed the Women Known as The Jeff Davis 8?" By Ethan Brown, when it first debuted on Showtime back in 2019, which led me to the book, then to the 2 part doc (Death in the Bayou) on the ID Channel, which then led me to hours upon hours upon hours of research via the Internet, and then finally... way down deep into more rabbit holes than I actually care to admit... And it always surprises me how many people aren't familiar with this case. It's absolute freaking insanity. WHY more True Crime TH-camrs haven't covered this, I'll never know. Just weeks after I heat similar stories from other women near me. And a few months later a women was found abandoned her car walked into a freezing cold lake and “drowned” the cops said it was suicide it definitely wasn’t and nobody is buying it.. she had a new born baby and a 3 year old she loved life and her children..

Hey on the 2nd one....why hasn't anyone considered the following scenario: Scott is hit by a vehicle. Shawn runs to his friend, the driver (or someone from the vehicle) jumps out and they lift/carry Scott's body the 200 ft and put him down. Then while Shawn's attention is on Scott, this person hits Shawn in the head to get rid of any witness and drives off thinking both boys are dead.
@The Life of Tony I think they only carried it that far to out Shawn at ease thinking they were going to help...then when they got a bit away (that happened to be about 200ft) they put the body down and waylaid Shawn. It's just a theory...
@The Life of Tony It's ok, I don't think I made my thoughts very clear. Trying to condense it so I wasn't writing a novel. What I picture is that Scott was hit and the driver stopped and then got out and saw Shawn there and went over as if to help get Scott out of the road. Perhaps even saying something about first aid or whatever. Basically putting Shawn at ease and then attacking him when his guard was down because he thought he had help and that everything would be ok. I hope that clarifies it a bit.
In China, there would be a couple of mountain river dams blown up one day, and the following day there is a 20,000 sq.acre lake where Jennings was the day before. Harsh? Yes, but proven 100% effective.

I had wrapped my car around a tree, my body thrown out of the vehicle. I bled out shortly and my organs began to shut down. Hearing is the final sense to go, and the notification chime inspired me to retreat from the light and fight my way back, summoning the energy to pull out my phone. Everywhere. Not just in small towns, and not just in the rural south. Everywhere. From one-horse towns with one fat cop to ride the one horse, all the way up to the oval office. Every one of them is filthy as a shit filled outhouse.
Every time we drive through Jennings on the way to my in-laws, my husband always talks about the serial killer that was never found. Good to know that isn’t so. Seems like just small town cops bumbling up cases. Strange so many happened in such a small town so close together.
Thank GOD! I’ve been waiting. Dude, you have the best voice, the best content, the best channel EVER. This one nearly an hour?! Thank You so much. You know, I would probably flip out completely if you posted an extra long compilation to either end 2018 or begin the new year. Again, thank you for all the effort and dedication you put in to your channel. Perfection!
Using the fact that he had no defensive wounds as a reason to believe he couldn't have been beaten by someone is just not logical. It would not be difficult to take him by surprise while he was distracted by the fact that his friend was just hit by a vehicle. A hit and run would not necessarily leave any debris from said vehicle behind. I honestly don't see any other plausable theories, besides the theory of Scott having been involved in a hit and run and then the perpetrator attacking his friend in order to eliminate him as a witness. Hopefully the POS is brought to justice soon.
has anyone looked into the theory (2nd story) that a vehicle, a large truck, with a push bumper ( the large metal front bumper, that protects your vehicle from pushing and hitting things ), if Scott was hit with a large vehicle ( truck ) Scott could've been hung onto the push bumper, depending on the size of the vehicle, which is why he didn't have drag marks. Shawn, could've been further down the road and then hit with the side mirror as the vehicle fled, leaving them to be remotely in the same place. Sad this hasn't been solved, prayers for the family.

Laura Presley it’s because of the last one, which really needs some kind of graphics showing the links between people, the crackheads, the corrupt police, the immoral or lazy town supervisors, pimping prison wardens, police chiefs just taking advantage of all this, morally lax people who know something’s going on or see something but choose not to pursue it..... I don’t think there was a nice or moral person in the town.

I'm completely fascinated by the Jennings 8 case. Was it a serial killer? Multiple killers? A law enforcement officer? Frankie Richard? (Who is now deceased) I don't think we'll ever know, but, then again, The Golden State Killer was caught after 40 years.....🤷🏿🤷🏿🤷🏿🤷🏿🤷🏿
You think? Sounds like being corrupt as well as having an overtly criminal mind and a willingness, no, an eagerness to commit violent criminal acts are all requirements for the job at Jennings P.D. Those not experienced in abuse of power and covering up criminal activity need not apply. But stay on in Jennings. We need all the citizens we can get. We're running out of victims. There are some openings still in affilliated departments, such as D.A.'s, City Council,Coroner, etc. Come in and apply, but be prepared to be the worst that you can be! The not so few, the shameless, the Law Enforcement Agencies of Jennings! Join our team. Or be our target. The choice is yours... Until we say it isn't
The last story is twisted af. As someone who lived in Louisiana, it doesn't shock me at all considering these small towns typically have lots of secrets.
I was just talking about how "I hope that CL guy is ok....didnt seen a video on Sunday!" How's everyone doing? We have a hour long video on this one! Party time! Enjoy!
I don't live far from Jennings, probably about half an hour or so away and you are right about not wanting to live there because the corruption down south Louisiana is nothing to take lightly. Jennings is a fairly small town but big compared to all the smaller ones surrounding it and the corruption runs deep with these "good old boys" in local law enforcement. So deep in some of these small towns you wouldn't believe it and as far fetched as the last story was or however unlikely it may seem, he was right on the money and think about this- that is just what all got leaked to the public. We can't even imagine what kind of horrible shit that goes on that only the cops who did the dirt know about.... Let me be clear on this- it is NOT all cops down here and alot of the cops down here are straight laced by the book regular people but then you have the crooked criminals with a badge that in my opinion are the absolute worst of the worst type of criminal... They literally take that badge and uniform as an excuse to play by their own rules and like a big time politician, all of sudden the laws that apply to the common folk no longer apply to these cops who live like Hillary Clinton just not nearly as many bodies in the ground as Hillary.
I'm a huge supporter of law enforcement. But that third case has corruption written all over it. I like to take everything with a grain of salt and trust at list research was done and not just hearsay. But that's an awful lot of fingers pointing to a corrupt city police department. As a supporter of police it really pisses me off to see that kinda shit. I mean if y'all ain't gonna uphold so dignity for the law who the fuck will?
Second story: I assume that the bodies of the two boys were found close to each other but far away from the puddle of blood because one of the boys was hit by a car and the other one tried to carry him to help. When the driver of the car turned to get rid of the witness the boy who was seeking help for his friend probably didn't even notice that the actual accident driver was coming back and asked for assistance instead of fleeing. So absolutely surprised he was an easy unsuspecting target for the deadly blows. Also if the boys were targeted the first one may even be hit on purpose with a baseball bat or something like that when the car drove by the first time.
So many murdered people that knew each other in Jennings, I'm lost, i don't even know who's who anymore. This person knew that person, this person was related through marriage to that person, I'm so lost lol.
That county in the last story seems to be one dangerous place to live! I live in a town with 7000 people, and there hasnt been a single murder in decades!

The 2 boys. I think one was hit by a car full force and that propelled him to be thrown backwards the 200 feet. His friend had probably been off to the side of the road and ran to his friend to check on him. The person in the car then got out and hit the other boy in the head with a tire iron or other object. I was born and raised in Charlotte and still currently live there. I lived in Wilmington for about 3 years from age 19 through 21 or 22. I had a friend who lived in Leland who’s house I went to a few times but for the most part the extent of my time in Leland was just passing through it driving to or from Wilmington. I was really surprised when he said Leland NC. I know crimes happen everywhere but I never would of guessed Leland would be in this video.
Based on the phone calls, most likely was a neighbor, or at least someone that knew her schedule really well.
@@outdoorloser4340 True. Those types of crimes are usually from someone in sight of the house or within a mile of the home.
Draw a circle 1 mile around the house and I'll bet the killer is located within it.

Ha ha.... true dat!!
Evac the innocents then nuke the town
Agree. I would jave done the same starting with the Sherriff. Dirty cops. Covering up his son's crimes and murders. That whole town is messed up. They need to wipe it from the map.
Good point; they didnt seem to have a problem killing anybody else.

It's never a mannequin.
Funny enough a few months ago in Cincinnati Ohio it was a mannequin. Google it, it's hilarious.
Omg I was thinking the same exact thing. How many mannequins are found floating in water? 😅

I am a born and bred New Englander (RI) and share my teeny tiny home state w/a PHENOMENAL, well known podcaster & True Crime Investigative GENIUS, Mr. Derrick Lavassaur... and for anyone who doesn't know who he is already, he's one half of the True Crime Podcasting Dynamic Duo, Crime Weekly Podcast/Crime Weekly News, w/the one & only YT True Crime Podcasting Queen herself, Ms. Stephanie Harlowe, and he just started his very own podcast a few months ago called, "Detective Perspective", which is already killing it... On top of that, he's also a former Central Falls, RI, Detective Sargent; Author; True Crime TV Personality w/a variety of shows on the wildly successful TV channel, Investigation Discovery/the ID Channel... Formerly staring in the show, Breaking Homicide w/world renowned Forensic Psychiatrist Dr. Kris Mohandi, and currently Co-Hosting the new TC show, called "Crime Feed" w/Nancy Grace, as well as, still working as a Licensed Private Investigator & PI Business Firm Owner in RI... (Fun fact... He was also the Season 16 Winner of "BIG BROTHER" & still considered to be one of, if not, THE BEST CONTESTANT to ever play the BB game!) ... Sorry, shameless plug! But, I've asked him to PLEASE cover this case sometime in the near future.... So keep your eyes peeled! This is one of those cases that still keeps me up at night... If I had the ability to solve ANY TRUE CRIME CASE OUT THERE RIGHT NOW, THIS IS THE ONE I'D CHOOSE, 100% ... My heart breaks for every single one of many friends, and family members that are still suffering to this day, praying for answers & justice that just doesn't seem to want to come. And ps, NO WAY IS THIS THE WORK OF A SERIAL KILLER (ONE SOLE OFFENDER). TG, You're day's are numbered, sleep well Sir, sleep well ... But, just don't forget to keep one of those eyes open at all times. Karma is very very real, what's done in darkness, will be brought to light, and God don't like UGLY

The saddest part is that in small towns across the United States, this isn't uncommon.
Yes! There is tremendous corruption in big cities, but that problem is soluble. The corruption in small towns in endemic.
I noticed that in the 3 yrs I lived down south
So many unsolved murders in my small town in Michigan... they often get wrote off as suicide or overdose even though they clearly aren’t.. it’s scary I had my own close encounter with assault or death being chased down a trail almost all the way to my house but since i didn’t see a face or know anything about the man the police couldn’t do anything.
@@roseanderson6429 Cops are quick to dismiss cases as suicide. Especially small town moron cops who are to dumb to investigate.

Yup lol.....sooooo confused.
@The Life of Tony Too heavy for 205 feet.
@The Life of Tony I think they only carried it that far to out Shawn at ease thinking they were going to help...then when they got a bit away (that happened to be about 200ft) they put the body down and waylaid Shawn. It's just a theory...
@@MrUbiquitousTech or it was too heavy for 205 ft LOL
@The Life of Tony It's ok, I don't think I made my thoughts very clear. Trying to condense it so I wasn't writing a novel. What I picture is that Scott was hit and the driver stopped and then got out and saw Shawn there and went over as if to help get Scott out of the road. Perhaps even saying something about first aid or whatever. Basically putting Shawn at ease and then attacking him when his guard was down because he thought he had help and that everything would be ok. I hope that clarifies it a bit.

With all the cops involved, there is no hope for justice. Truly sad.
Yeah I couldn't agree more not to mention the fact the kid was only a 9th grader and a pretty boy he couldn't fight his way out of paper bag
has anyone looked into the theory (2nd story) that a vehicle, a large truck, with a push bumper ( the large metal front bumper, that protects your vehicle from pushing and hitting things ), if Scott was hit with a large vehicle ( truck ) Scott could've been hung onto the push bumper, depending on the size of the vehicle, which is why he didn't have drag marks. Shawn, could've been further down the road and then hit with the side mirror as the vehicle fled, leaving them to be remotely in the same place. Sad this hasn't been solved, prayers for the family.

Jennings sounds like it’s seriously plagued with police corruption and underground crime. I wouldn’t want to live there...
Your voice is what makes this channel great. Its perfect for these cases. 💯 😊
