★ Method 1 Update Your WIFI Adapter
- Open Device Manager
- Click on Network Adapters
- Right Click on First One Which WIFI Adapter
- Click on Properties
- click on Driver and then Click on Update Driver
- Click Search Automatically Update Driver Software
- Close the window
- Check if it's work
★ Method 2: Restart WLAN Auto Config
- Open Task Manager
- Click on Services
- Click on Open Services
- Find WLAN Auto Config
- Right Click on WLAN Auto Config
- Select Startup type as Automatic
- Click on Start
- Click on Apply and then ok
- Now fixed the error "WIFI Option not showing on Windows 10"
If Still Error Show Then Restart Your WIFI Router and Restart Your PC / Laptop / Computer.

Go to windows firewall defender. And disable temporarily for both public and private networks, then restart. Worked for me (ideapad)

I am working from home and suddenly I started facing issue with the WiFi. And when I connected to my organisation IT support he did the network reset which resulted in this issue where now we can't see WiFi button.
He kept installing drivers and kept running various command while I connected temporarily with lan wire so he can work, spent 3 4 hrs to no avail.
Then I decided to search this on Google and found your video I shared this with that IT Guy and with method 2 it did worked.
I don't know otherwise what we have to do.. He was saying may be wifi adapter need to be replaced or may be I have to visit office.

It worked perfectly! Thank you so much for the fix. I plugged in my WiFi adapter, went in Services and set the WLAN to Automatic. The PC is now detecting my WiFi hotspot. Such a good, clear fix. I was reading so many articles, but this was a way out. Thanks once again

Method 2 worked a treat, schoolboy error, switched off the WLAN in services months ago and forgot to switch it back on again when i wanted to use the wireless. Nice one!

Thanks a lot! This problem reappears every once in a while on my laptop (annoying!). The first method still works (even if the network adapter seems to be up to date each time). I followed method 2 my WLAN config was already at automatic and running so i stop it and start it again and everything works fine you’ve saved my day thank you so much!

Guys, make sure your Windows Event Log is ON. To check this, search Run, open it, type msconfig, open it, go to services and search for windows event log. Make sure it's checked, click ok and restart computer. It worked for me :)

On the device manager, right click the Qualcomm wifi and disable it. Then enable it again. It works for me.

I have Acer Aspire Timeline 4810T that have unfixed problem with wifi, there are touchbar with led indicator for activate/deactivate wifi but most of the time it won't show a wifi on Windows 7 taskbar, not even device manager, and the touchbar doesn't work as well
I use it very harsh, without cooling pad and using NetCut most of the time while located only 10 cm from WiFi router until i get replacement. After few years abandoned, i turn it on and the wifi shows up for a while (led touchbar light up and wifi appear on taskbar), but then it is gone again after the laptop heat increase and no possible fix found for it.
You can use USB tethering from your smartphone, or buy USB WiFi dongle instead.

I noticed a exclamation mark on my Wireless adapter in device manager. None of the solutions shown in video worked. Also, I was sick of restarting the PC since it would interrupt my work. So, I rather disabled the wireless adapter (from action bar in the device manager) and enabled it again. Voila! It worked! Now, I can see the wifi window pop up.

For those laptops do not show the wifi adapter in method 1, just go for method 2 and restart your laptop. It works to me! As my laptop always hide the wifi away from me, and I finally found this to solve with🥲 Thank you so much! You're my life saver!

Finally found the issue!!! All those method have been tried but no success, it might work for others but i found that you have to delete the intel wifi adapter driver manually from control panel>uninstall program>uninstall it. After that just restart your pc or laptop then you will see wifi indicator will appear. It is because the intel driver that you installed doesn't match with the window that you have installed, that is why window blocks the wifi indicator to show up, you can see after uninstalling the intel driver and restarting when you open device manager>network adapter there you see "Qualcomm QCA9565......wifi adapter" driver installed by windows itself which is for me working absolutely fine! In my case i have windows 10 pro 64bit installed in my dell "Latitude E5450 laptop"

YOu don't have to restart your pc, just disable the wifi adapter thing(on method 1) on the device manager then re enable it.
