I used to love hiking that canyon all the time in the 90's. I'd park and camp at the boy scout camp and then wake up in the morning and hike the canyon. 13:20 brings tears to my eyes. That's why I love the Owyhees!
You were very fortunate to grow up in such a beautiful area and get to see the building fully intact. I really enjoy the shots you get with your drone. Makes me very sentimental considering most of the people who went to those places with me have passed. Thanks for making them.
I grew up and around pickles butte and the south side of Lake Lowell at the end/top of Locust Lane before you head down into the valley next to the Snake River. That area will always be special to me.

I remember going there as a kid when the building was still up. I used to live not far from the boy scout camp, too.

Map Rock Road next to the Snake River is a good spot for a video. With petroglyphs and Trappers flat.
