      Thank you ddm77! You can’t see it, but I often re-shoot over and over again, because I see how I can explain it better after I’m all done. Hahhahaa but I must make it the way I’d want to learn about it. So thank you for commenting and re-fueling me!

    I love the tip in one of your past videos of putting dots to raise the ruler so the circles don't pop out

    • @PaperZenCeceliaLouie
      @PaperZenCeceliaLouie  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Aw I’m happy to hear the raising dots helped you Linda! What do you make most in quilling after you’ve made your circles?

    Cecelia, I like that you show different ways to make these because not everyone has a cricut. Why do you have 2 different tacky glues listed and what is the difference? Thanks, Pat S

    • @PaperZenCeceliaLouie
      @PaperZenCeceliaLouie  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      The "Always Ready" design has the cap on the bottom, so the glue will always be ready for you to use. Other than that, it's the same.

      @@PaperZenCeceliaLouie I took the template into Serif Craft Artist and erased everything bar the circles. Printed it to check alignment and had to make some minor adjustments. Printed again and scanned into Scanncut. Cut on mylar, a blank piece of card and then the original with measurements etc., then stuck them together to create depth. I'll send you a pic via your etsy email. x

    Ingenious! I am tossing up whether to get a Cricut, do you use yours very much for quilling?

      Glad you like it Maz! I just wish I thought of it sooner!
      I love combining my love of quilling with die cutting. Here’s how I use it for cutting my own paper:
      th-cam.com/video/sMSdhH7JSH0/w-d-xo.html
      You can also make fringed flowers:
      th-cam.com/video/pJFGDsvd6bA/w-d-xo.html
      I have even made a bird pattern cuttable:
      th-cam.com/video/z7KbtQYqG9w/w-d-xo.html
      Die cutting is not for everyone. You do need to learn some software and be comfortable with new ways of dealing with paper. I suggest watching other TH-cam videos about what else you can make with it. I do have other digital files in my channel so you can see what else you can make.

    I wonder if a framing shop would cut circles out of matboard.

    • @PaperZenCeceliaLouie
      @PaperZenCeceliaLouie  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      You can certainly ask them but generally the tools I’ve seen them use make much larger circles so the photos can be seen.
