I’m 26 and i was born physically disabled. I started going to the gym a year and a half ago and I absolutely love it. I would never stop now. Since then, i’ve dealt with physical health issues due to my disability and it’s been tough to push through. When vegeta said, “i’ll shatter through my limits. In my own way. On my own terms”, legit made me tear up during my gym session. It’s been hard growing up with permanent physical limitations, but i stopped feeling bad for myself and started training. Training like vegeta. I’ll get there. In my own way

So many hugely inspirational quotes for young men come from vegeta. The one that stands out the most for me is "if you're my son as you claim, then I won't tolerate you losing to anyone. You'll be the best, or you'll be nothing". This might sound harsh to some. But tell me that wouldn't flick a switch in you if your father said that to you. my father told me something similar when i got into a fight in grade 1 of primary school. I went to school the next day and beat up the kid that had made me cry by calling me names. and from then i never cried, never lost a fight, and even took on year 6 kids while in grade 3. even broke a kid's jaw (who attacked me first, unprovoked) with a single punch. everyone knew not to mess with me. back then, you wouldn't dob to the teachers if you got into a fair fight so i didn't get in trouble. now i'm 37 and although i don't respect my father as a person and we don't talk, I am glad he made sure I wouldn't grow up weak while he spent my entire childhood in jail. and that early experience backing myself from a young age even saved my life not that long ago when a meth head on the train attacked me with a knife. if I had been paralysed by fear he would have got me when he tried to slash my throat. young men these days need a father, and one strong enough to force them to be a man

My favourite character, I've been so impressed by his character growth, finding something to truly fight for, putting in a true effort to become a better man and not let his past define him or hold him back, he knows who he was, what he did but knows theres much more to himself than that. I truly believe that he no longer fights for joy or even because he wants to, unlike Goku who has a dark obsession with fighting, Vegeta seems to fight to protect those he loves, people can't live in peace unless someone is willing to fight for it. My favourite moment is honestly his fight with golden Frieza. Nobody would have blamed him for drawing out the fight, making the tyrant suffer and constantly taunt him while holding his superiority above him, as I'm sure was always done to Vegeta for decades. Yet during the fight, he just fought to defeat him, he seemed to have truly moved on, his old master no longer had a hold over him. To me it was finally him saying "you no longer hold any power over me and aren't worth my time."

In his very DNA there is a million years of combat. Every cell of his body was built for war. A Saiyan knows not weakness or peace. The warriors without limit. Mortal gods! They are all... Legendary.
Even when he was the villain he still showed fairness from his pride. He never stooped down to petty moves or cheated to win he knew he was strong enough and lowering himself to that kinda of thing would mean he didn't believe in his ability. His belief in himself is powerful along with his pride
This is amazing. He really has that vibe of reaching your goals because you want to and nothing is going to stop you. Reminds me of my cousin, he was born with mental and movement disabilites(he cant speak, not that he doesnt know he just literally cant and couldnt walk properly even as a kid, I have to say he is still a smart man and in no ways should be considered intelectually disabled) even then he kept playing outside, trying to run and even ride a bicycle. He got better at walking because of that, in fact, he got so much better that he is now a track runner and earns way more money than your average office worker

The fact that the man who created Vegeta doesn't even like him goes to show the struggle he goes through every single day but he's still here with us. Watching Vegeta with the other universes saiyans had me choked up a bit. He had so much pride in them, watching how strong they where even though they were on opposite sides and being proud. That blue spark in his eyes just before he "breaks out of his shell" (royal blue) ...That is the most iconic scene in dbs for me. That promise. Vegeta definitely has the best overall story arc of any character in the DB universe, and this video does an amazing job of displaying how Vegeta may have needed to change his ways and his thinking, but he never needed to change who he was. I think the real turning point for him was definitely the Babidi situation because it seemed to be then... when the fact that Babidi could only get someone who had any evil in their heart, and after he thought he was just fine all that time just the way he was going, and then Babidi got him, but couldn't get anyone else... that he realized he'd been wrong all along, and his heart really, truly changed when that hit him. If that hadn't been the case, then Babidi would've had him permanently, but because his heart changed right then, he got free of Babidi. If that whole situation didn't break your heart even just a little, then I dunno what the heck you were watching the whole time. ☺
If you have watched the entire series and don't think that Vegeta has the best redemption and character building of any show, rethink it. This man went from a ruthless prince who'd kill someone just to have a laugh, to telling Jiren that "he wouldn't understand what it's like to fight for others with all your heart". By far the greatest character and inspiration for greatness!
He sought the Dragonballs to obtain immortality. Then later scolds Zamasu for underestimating mortals. Vegeta's growth shown from Buu Saga through the Tournament of Power shows that he has completely shed the man he was when he first came to Earth

I'm glad that in Super, they make him way more equal to goku, instead of being behind him all the time. He even managed to fight Lord Berus longer than Goku. AND unlike goku, vegeta had to train his ass off to get to super saying blue. Basically earning it.

Nobody would have blamed him for drawing out the fight, making the tyrant suffer and constantly taunt him while holding his superiority above him, as I'm sure was always done to Vegeta for decades. Yet during the fight, he just fought to defeat him, he seemed to have truly moved on, his old master no longer had a hold over him. To me it was finally him saying "you no longer hold any power over me and aren't worth my time."
He literally has said many times that it is his "Birthright" to become a super saiyan

This is amazing. He really has that vibe of reaching your goals because you want to and nothing is going to stop you. Reminds me of my cousin, he was born with mental and movement disabilites(he cant speak, not that he doesnt know he just literally cant and couldnt walk properly even as a kid, I have to say he is still a smart man and in no ways should be considered intelectually disabled) even then he kept playing outside, trying to run and even ride a bicycle. He got better at walking because of that, in fact, he got so much better that he is now a track runner and earns way more money than your average office worker

Watching Vegeta with the other universes saiyans had me choked up a bit. He had so much pride in them, watching how strong they where even though they were on opposite sides and being proud. Then promising to bring them back with the wish, they were from opposing universes but they were still Saiyans and he was still the Saiyan Prince 😭
That blue spark in his eyes just before he "breaks out of his shell" (royal blue) ...That is the most iconic scene in dbs for me. That promise. People will say vegeta's speech to belmod and Goku before Kakarot goes mui, but Vegeta was not born with that much potential. Vegeta definitely has the best overall story arc of any character in the DB universe, and this video does an amazing job of displaying how Vegeta may have needed to change his ways and his thinking, but he never needed to change who he was. I think the real turning point for him was definitely the Babidi situation because it seemed to be then... when the fact that Babidi could only get someone who had any evil in their heart, and after he thought he was just fine all that time just the way he was going, and then Babidi got him, but couldn't get anyone else... that he realized he'd been wrong all along, and his heart really, truly changed when that hit him. If that hadn't been the case, then Babidi would've had him permanently, but because his heart changed right then, he got free of Babidi. If that whole situation didn't break your heart even just a little, then I dunno what the heck you were watching the whole time. ☺

If you have watched the entire series and don't think that Vegeta has the best redemption and character building of any show, rethink it. This man went from a ruthless prince who'd kill someone just to have a laugh, to telling Jiren that "he wouldn't understand what it's like to fight for others with all your heart". He sought the Dragonballs to obtain immortality. Then later scolds Zamasu for underestimating mortals. Vegeta's growth shown from Buu Saga through the Tournament of Power shows that he has completely shed the man he was when he first came to Earth

I'm glad that in Super, they make him way more equal to goku, instead of being behind him all the time. He even managed to fight Lord Berus longer than Goku. AND unlike goku, vegeta had to train his ass off to get to super saying blue. Basically earning it.
