Last time I attempted this one, I couldn’t finish it. I did today. Good to go back over some of the older ones. I like the map in the corner as an indicator because I cover the clock on my treadmill. Progress today 👏👍Thank you
I watch these whilst on my cross trainer and I just keep going to the end. it's great to say Hi to everyone you meet and the sound of you running is better than music, for me anyway. Thank you.
Wow! Just amazing. It was like I was in Middle Earth! Now I am fantasy nerd and I like to think of myself as Legolas's wife and we are out hunting. Yep dork! I say it every time but thanks for making these videos. They really motivate me to get on the treadmill and they have improved my running.
That into music and the picture of the virtual run just gets my motor reved up! I love it! Just recovering from covid, and have missed hearing it! Thank you!!!
A short session but looks like a good mountain run. Enjoying watching and imagining I am there. One of the better run clips I have seen. Thank you for putting it on. Would love to do it myself some day. Thanks again. : )
Thank you! woo hoo! You are such a inspiration! This mornings run gave me new depth and Height in my meditation as i ran. God is my Rock, and you gave that some beautiful meaning by the breathtaking secenery! Blessings to you!
I absolutely loved this. Thank you so much for sharing it. I love to hike but I live in Kansas USA. Flat ground. Lol this kept me going very easily during my workout.
This was one of the most beautiful runs! I have been enjoying all the virtual runs since June and I am happy to say I'm down 20lbs! Thank you so much for your fun and motivating videos! I'll buy you $20 worth of coffee for each pound you've helped me lose! Cheers! Jessica P.S. I have totally enjoyed beautiful Norway.....especially the sheep
Thank you so much Jessica! That's great to hear, I'm glad it helps making your treadmill runs easier while watching the virtual runs! 🤩 Thank you very much for the coffees ❤️😊
Beautiful! Still pretty much in your backyard, I see. I notice that I can do a faster 5k if I run on a flat surface and you climb a mountain. It is the great equalizer. Then again, not that long ago even that would have not been the case...so I shall take the small victories. It was worth the wait for this one, Svein Erik. Thanks again.
Thanks Ron! Yes, about 40 mins from my home to this trail, so, pretty close. A victory is a victory 😃 I'm not sure what you mean by "the wait for this one"? I've been publishing 1 video per week, did you miss one? 😉 Greetings from a sunny day in Norway (I think I have to try and record a new run today, but where...hmm)
Love it. Really enjoy your trail videos. Can I ask, where / how do capture and place the corresponding live speed, gradient and distance onto the video? I have garmin and the GPX info but I love the corresponding live map and info. Its great. Thanks,
Such a beautiful video!! Can I please know what device you were using to track your run stats that we see on the top right side of this video? How do i get that if i want to overlay those stats on my video. Would really appreciate if you can share some info on that. Thankyou!
Hello! It's on the west coast of Norway, you'll find information and a link to Google maps here (ut.no/hytte/10806/skaraly-dagsturhytte-i-sunnfjord-kommune) it's in Norwegian though 😊
I see someone already commented about being a mountain goat..you must be one to do this run. The first cabin, is it also used by everyone? Great job doing this..thanks again.
Hello! The name of the mountain is "Storehesten". You can check out the route and map details in the Strava link in the video-description if you're interested.
I love these videos. May I use about 2 to 3 minutes of this video in my video? I teach 4th grade and make motivational videos for my students and others that like to view them. This week's video is going to be titled "Run Towards It". I will credit your video and will put the link to your video in the description so that others may come to your channel.
Hi Mike, thanks for the positive feedback. Yes, you may do that as long as you credit like you say you will. Say hello to your students from "the Norwegian guy" 😊
Hey Norway Guy,hope you are doing well. Thanks again for letting me use part of your video. I used it for the introduction. I credited your video and channel and said a little blurb to help drive people to your channel. I may ask for permission in the future to use another part of your videos because they are so good. Have a great one!!
One comment and one question: I am astonished that small children make that steep and risky climb, but then I have already learned that the Norwegians are part mountain goat! And what are those big white puffy bags along the trail? Evidence of cleanup, waiting to be airlifted?
So many people in the world, and as many music choices. Why not leave it up to the user if they want to hear the sound from the nature, or to use their own music?
Enjoy this virtual running video everyone! If you like what I do, please support me by buying me a coffee: ko-fi.com/virtualruntv ❤️

Amazing run, thank you for the truly spectacular views. You must have the agility of a mountain goat to be so sure footed :)
Thank you John! We're all goats in Norway 🤣
Thanks again! Awesome views! Don't you just love gravity? Half of the time perhaps?
Haha, half of the time 😉 But if we don't do the first half, then the second half doesn't feel as good as it should 😉
wow wow wow!!! This was so pretty!! I hope I can do this is person someday! It made the treadmill more bearable, so thank you for sharing. 🙂

Nydelig tur! Kan du legge til litt bakgrunnsmusikk?
Takk! Jeg har ikke musikk på mine videoer. Da er det bedre å sette på sin egen musikk på øret 😊

Thanks for the tip! By that you mean instead of "10 km/h" into "5:23" f.ex? I'm unsure if Virb supports this, but I'll check. Thank you
I see someone already commented about being a mountain goat..you must be one to do this run. The first cabin, is it also used by everyone? Great job doing this..thanks again.
I believe the first cabin is private. The last one is part of a national project. It's built in in all municipalities in Norway, which is pretty cool!
❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️😊
Thank you very much 😊
Just completed 45min at 7 speed covering 5.3 km
Great work!

Hey, it's 2:22 PM on Tuesday, August 3, 2021 Sunnfjord, Vestland. Maps: maps.app.goo.gl/FZ1jFqnPdRL6kCQz6

I am not sure about this one, but I think it might be gravel in it, used by the volunteers to maintain the paths for us goats 😅👍
Bless those volunteers! Your trails are remarkable!
Hvor er det?
Det er på vei opp til Storehesten, i Bygstad, rett ved Førde flyplass 😊
I know I was supposed to see some "Stunning Mountain Scenery", but all I saw over and over was twisted ankles.
Haha, it could easily end up with twisted ankles! Gotta be focused on each step! But you did see some stunning mountain scenery as well, didn't you?
