An absolutely fantastic run with absolutely fantastic views, spoiled by aggressive ads every 3-4 minutes causing me to run with the remote in my hand, breaking the immersion of the experience as well. I've never seen ads this aggressive in a YT video before. Consider checking your settings for this particular posting as it is certainly different with ads than others!

Picked up the video 22 minutes in as I get some steps in before doing our usual 30 minute Monday run later today. I must say, your fitness level must be off the charts. Your opening 5 km was at an 8 minute/km pace which is my goal in training runs...which I’ve only managed once thus far this year on a route that does not have a single 30%...20%...10%...or even 5% grade. The hang glider was a nice touch. Glad to see the edit at the summit, which hopefully means you enjoyed the sights a bit longer before beginning your decent. No doubt this is the video that you put the most effort into, Svein Erik, and it paid off. The most amazing video yet. Looking forward to Tuesday when I finish the video...going downhill! Fantastic job, as always.

I also loved the first ten minutes of the descent. Stunning and inspiring! I seldom use the incline on the treadmill and this run inspired me to. I got a great burn! If only I could do a negative incline to be rewarded for my effort on the way back down the mountain! Fantastic work! Thank you!!
I have a $5,000 treadmill. It doesn't have negative incline (downhill) mode. 😞 But I'm SUPER grateful for it. Saved my life(heart) and have been getting in shape since I bought it home. I was breathing hard(HR @140!) walking upstairs!! Now my HR is in the 70's. Next treadmill negative incline!!
Talk about separating the men from the boys...or in my case, the men from the old men. Up a @&#$ mountain, eh? Somebody loves inclines more than I do. It is going to take me three viewings to accomplish this trek. I am using it to supplement my outdoor Sunday and Monday runs as well as most of my steps for Tuesday. Absolutely awesome scenery yet again, Svein Erik. I got just over 21 minutes in today, just as you finished that 25% adventure up that stony trail. I got tired just watching you...from the level confines of my family room. Even I needed a rest.
I had to make some walking bits, and it beats me 😒 But it's quite hard with the nonstop incline! The reward is the beautiful view at the top, and I just had to do it this day, as it was 1 sunny day, surrounded by grey, rainy days for a whole week 😅 I hope you'll enjoy this mountain run on your sessions 👌😊
This was an amazing walk/run. Best part was the parasailing at the top. Did you by chance see where they landed? It won’t be long and the snow will be falling. Enjoy your weekend.

Maybe the new GoPros with digital stabilization and/or HDR turned on (my guesses about your settings) give a more crumbling picture than the old GoPros without such capabilities. Looks like you are so good at stabilizing with your head that you don’t even need stabilization :)
Good question! It's hard to tell really. Depends on many factors, light being the biggest factor. But also the season. In winter time the light is different here than in the summer, it's clearer air, no dust. Well, it's hard to tell 😊 Hope you're feeling better!
@VirtualRunTV thank you, looked a few videos from fast guys on other channels, and now my overall sense turns to that 30fps in 4k is just a better choice for running with the current state of tech in action cameras...
@@PeterBayandin I have actually thought about this too. Maybe I'll try to go down from 60fps to 30fps on my next recording. Or do 5 min with 30, then 5 min with 60 on the exact same route to compare :)
Hey Erik, I decided not to attempt the incline this morning as I find it too steep for running on the treadmill. 🏃♂️ On the other hand I went for the half way point on the video i.e just a few metres from the summit and ran down to the car park, much better. Btw, I cannot believe that someone would stop a couple of metres from the top and have a chat with the couple going up, you must have thought "get out of the way!". 🤐😂. Mind you even better, what about the couple pushing the pram, presumably with a baby up a snow covered 10% incline, mad or what?🤷♂️. Still I loved the views, excellent as always. John UK

Day three (for me), and we are back at the bottom in a familiar parking area. For some reason the decent appeared faster than the accent. I have some theories as to why that was. I was wondering as to how the footing was when I saw your slight slip near the summit around the 48 minute mark, as you neared the fellow climbing up, and a few minutes later the woman going down ahead of you seemed to be a little shaky as you approached. So, how was the footing? It did not look at much fun as I had expected. There were real rocky patches you went through in both directions you had to be careful going over. I have become accustomed to you meeting people even in the most remote areas, but I still was surprised to see all those others who shared in your desire to head up to the summit. People of all shapes, sizes, and ages seem to love hitting the outdoors around Forde. Thanks again, Svein Erik. I really enjoyed this one and look forward to even more climbs up to the heights in the future.
Hey Ron! The footing was not "too bad". The most scary thing is the medium sized stones, not too big, but big enough that you can roll a bit to the side, and twist an ankle if you're a bit unlucky. Other than that it was a bit slippery on some snowy/icy parts. But the positive thing about it is that I have to focus, and tend to forget how tired I am 😊 You're right, in Norway you'll see people everywhere in the nature, from age 0 to 100, not in Canada?
@@VirtualRunTV - We usually run a 4k route in a residential area and we pass less people than you do on most of your videos. I thought we were more into it...but it would appear we have a ways to go yet.
All the run in this video is absolute challenge, especially 24:25 a much steeper uphill run and you said Sorry 26:55 to you audiences.I guess you want to said I have to walk for a little while. If I were you, I may run the first 10 mins and walk to the rest. 😂😂😂
