I’m getting a 14 Pro Max shortly after launch, and I got to say this iPhone the single smartphone I’ve been this excited to own. Everything about this phone is amazing and I can’t wait to try it.

I hated on it at first, but honestly I think the front facing camera will be fine when interacting with the cutout. I mean, I’ve dragged my finger across mine when pulling the notification bar down and never noticed the camera being foggy or dirty, so I personally think it’ll be fine. I’m excited to get a 14 pro, just deciding between the regular or the max

For me it was the fold 4 and I'm loving it! definitely unique from all the traditional smartphones. It's beautiful in person, very customizable, Catches everyone's attention. And its best of both worlds one hand friendly and folds open to a tablet.

Same, I was so happy to upgrade from 11 pro to 14 pro max ( space black ) but the problem is the delivery time, it’s 4-5 weeks in my country which mean I’ll be getting the device by 27th oct.
Fingerprints on the selfiecam isnt a big deal. You should always wiping the camera before taking a picture anyways, no matter which phone you are using..
There isn’t. I can’t even see much difference between the photos my 12 Pro Max takes and this. Highlights need to stop being clipped, it’s a solid all round camera but so was the 11 Pro from 3 years ago.
I feel like Apple are always late to the game deliberately. When they do release already available android features I think they tend to do it better, more attention to detail. I am looking forward to getting my 14pro max. And yes! Had to get the deep purple, its stunning.

Fellow Android user (Samsung to be specific), I've always said that I'd switch over to Apple when I'm finally impressed. I wasn't gonna switch to Apple JUST for them to not have half of the features I use everyday. They checked everything off my deal breaker list and I can't wait to grab the 14 Pro Max 😁
As an android user, I like how they finally decided to change up the front design a little bit, after 5 years. The dynamic Island seemed pretty cool until I realize that iOS does not show notification icons in the status bar. So this was a much needed feature. But I agree it's a cool implementation. As for the always on-display, why is not fully turning off all pixels except for the important stuff? Wouldn't doing so save much more battery? Seems counterintuitive
How could you get that iPhone 14 Pro and Pro Max? I ordered my iPhone 14 pro Max as fast as possible when it's available, but my order says it will be delivered on next month. It's unfair!
I really like the Dynamic Island! It is so unbelievable that other companies have been using that kind of display cut out for years but Apple actually added some really cool features to make it look unique. Thats why it is so important to make your own SW!
@@pakichadgaming The LG V10 had similar solution. It was in the top right corner. However NOBODY took that feature seriously and nobody used it as V10 was the only phone with that secondary display. I read and watched tests about the phone and the secondary screen (thats how they called it) was way too uncomfortable to use it. We both know where LG is now.. Lets wait a year or two and see how many Android phone makers will take that idea.
Let's just leave out the fact that Apple took this long to do anything with it. Also to me its nothing special or enough of a change to warrant am upgrade.

Well, I have had all of the galaxy S and Note phones since they came out along with all iPhones since they came out. Always had them side by side on a daily basis and can say that they are really 2 different phones. Apple has amazing cameras and other great features, but I would never use an iPhone14 Pro max as a main phone without my galaxy S22 ultra for example. They need to go together. But if I ever had to pick one, it would be my s22 ultra no doubt.
Honestly I don't get the big deal with the island. Its just a distraction from the fact Apple has still kept the lightning cable once again. No break through in cameras. Removed physical sim card making switching carriers and roaming more of a pain. But woohoo it has a fancy software island🤷🏽♂️
Please do the camera comparison not only with the s22 ultra but with the 13 pro max also. As far as my observations, you are the first "unboxer" of the 14s and 14 pro/maxes througout the whole you tube. Big thumbs up for that :)
I like the pro better than the pro max, its to big and heavy. You get the same mostly, smaller screen and a little bit lower SOT, but its battery is very god on iphones now
Yh I agree I’m also getting the normal pro thought about max but it would be to heavy and big for me even tho my hands are big so I’m happy with what I’m getting more portable the better
After using a dynamic island, now be prepared for blurry images and videos from the front camera due to multiple finger print and smudges on the front cam...

feel the weight first. The 13 pro max is HEAVY! and same will be with the pro max 14. I have the 12 pro max and the weight is manageable. For the first time, I'm debating which one to get, mainly because of its weight.
I have been there when I bought my 13 Pro Max.. Go for the Pro. I'm actually debating myself on upgrading just to get a Pro version and sell my Pro Max. You can definitely feel the weight, which is not much of a deal in hand, but when used in a magsafe car mount, the weight makes it easier to wobble / detach. And my grip on the phone is not making it easy to text or take selfies with one hand. I have the apple leather and clear case and both are still hard to manage. Regarding the battery life of the Max, yeah it is incredible but still I'd rather charge my phone for a quick boost, while actually managing the phone easily in my hand rather than "hands" most of the time.
I've preordered the 14 Pro Max, since currently I have the 13 Pro Max. Super excited to try out the new camera! I do a lot of weather Timelapses and filming, and photography, so im definitely ready to see how the new 48mp with ProRAW is gonna hold up against the 13.

So, this year we get a 48MP main camera that's upgraded rom last years 12MP (overall pictures will still output in 12MP, but the larger sensor means greater detail especially when shooting in ProRAW) we also get new lenses on all cameras including the Ultra Wide camera, giving you more crisp Macro shots. We also get 4K 30FPS in Cinematic Mode this year. Better selfie cam with Auto Focus for the first time on iPhone. Action mode, for better camera stabilization. The notch has been completely redesigned and reimagined to be used as a feature rather than a distraction. Still think there's not much of a difference? My 13 Pro Max has none of this, sure the camera is good, but having a larger sensor means that when im doing Night Mode, my footage and pictures will be significantly better, not just slightly better. So don't worry, I'll be doing my own, personal comparisons and you'll be able to find them right on my channel. Also, ever been broke down in the middle of nowhere with no service or anything nearby for miles? I know I have.. The entire 14 lineup will have Emergency SOS VIA Satellite, iPhone 13 does not have this, nor will it ever.

I'm a Samsung user and have been since before smartphones. I had the 13 Pro max but really didn't like it so got the s22 ultra but i have to say I absolutely love the dynamic island and hope Samsung do something similar with the hole punch cut out. Can't see it happening though, I think they'll put the camera under the display instead.
It's a neat software trick however I prefer Samsung refine the camera software amd battery optimization. The pin hole stuff is just cosmetics. Looks nice but I can Do without it. Honestly I don't know why anyone is excited for this. Nothing ground breaking.

Unfortunately, lots of details about the solution "Dynamic Island", but little emphasis on the underlying problem which is a centered huge cutout in the visible area. The Dynamic Island will be forgotton after a few days as it does not solve anything new and serves one purpose only which is the destraction from the cutout which will remain always there. The worst thing is that the Dynamic Island comes with so many flaws unlike any other new UI design element (reachability, dirty camera lense, works only in portrait mode and if not there, the cutout will still remain there). Regarding the rest: let us see whether the Actioon Mode can keep up with Galaxy's SuperSteady (looking forward to your super camera comparisons). The Crash Detection should not bother you as in Europe every new car and most of the cars registered in recent years have this feature in a more reliable way (this is the reason why the feature never became relevant when Google introduced it with Pixel 4). And the AOD, does not reserve even to be mentioned.
@@zedki8553 I just did it. Indeed, the Action Mode looks a lot smoother than the SuperSteady. Kudos to Apple. Interestingly, when taking videos myself with SuperSteady on Fold 3, the results look better than on S22U.

Great content. About time apple finally caught up with everyone else. Sort of. Everyone how buys them should give thanks to samsung for making them the LTPO 120HZ REFRESH RATE, in which gives the display the always on display. The Island is still intrusive. Does the Island stretch while watching content? Camera is getting there.

It's a 1 hz on AOD display so battery consumption would be low, but yeah a traditional aod would be awesome

No ultrasonic fingerprint scanner is a big miss. Face id is not always useful in some situations. So you have to type your code.

is it worth upgrading from 13 pro max??
Still can't decide whether to go Pro Max or go with the Pro. I've got the 11 pro max at the minute. Just can't decide whether I need such a big phone or not lol.

feel the weight first. The 13 pro max is HEAVY! and same will be with the pro max 14. I have the 12 pro max and the weight is manageable. For the first time, I'm debating which one to get, mainly because of its weight.
I have been there when I bought my 13 Pro Max.. Go for the Pro. I'm actually debating myself on upgrading just to get a Pro version and sell my Pro Max. You can definitely feel the weight, which is not much of a deal in hand, but when used in a magsafe car mount, the weight makes it easier to wobble / detach. And my grip on the phone is not making it easy to text or take selfies with one hand. I have the apple leather and clear case and both are still hard to manage. Regarding the battery life of the Max, yeah it is incredible but still I'd rather charge my phone for a quick boost, while actually managing the phone easily in my hand rather than "hands" most of the time.

I've preordered the 14 Pro Max, since currently I have the 13 Pro Max. Super excited to try out the new camera! I do a lot of weather Timelapses and filming, and photography, so im definitely ready to see how the new 48mp with ProRAW is gonna hold up against the 13.

@@shaam007 Well perhaps you didn't actually watch this video, or the Apple Event.. So, this year we get a 48MP main camera that's upgraded rom last years 12MP (overall pictures will still output in 12MP, but the larger sensor means greater detail especially when shooting in ProRAW) we also get new lenses on all cameras including the Ultra Wide camera, giving you more crisp Macro shots. We also get 4K 30FPS in Cinematic Mode this year. Better selfie cam with Auto Focus for the first time on iPhone. Action mode, for better camera stabilization. The notch has been completely redesigned and reimagined to be used as a feature rather than a distraction. Still think there's not much of a difference? My 13 Pro Max has none of this, sure the camera is good, but having a larger sensor means that when im doing Night Mode, my footage and pictures will be significantly better, not just slightly better. So don't worry, I'll be doing my own, personal comparisons and you'll be able to find them right on my channel. Also, ever been broke down in the middle of nowhere with no service or anything nearby for miles? I know I have.. The entire 14 lineup will have Emergency SOS VIA Satellite, iPhone 13 does not have this, nor will it ever.

I'm a Samsung user and have been since before smartphones. I had the 13 Pro max but really didn't like it so got the s22 ultra but i have to say I absolutely love the dynamic island and hope Samsung do something similar with the hole punch cut out. Can't see it happening though, I think they'll put the camera under the display instead.

It's a neat software trick however I prefer Samsung refine the camera software amd battery optimization. The pin hole stuff is just cosmetics. Looks nice but I can Do without it. Honestly I don't know why anyone is excited for this. Nothing ground breaking.

Is the 14 pro max wallpaper a hint at a foldable iPhone coming in future ?
Unfortunately, lots of details about the solution "Dynamic Island", but little emphasis on the underlying problem which is a centered huge cutout in the visible area. The Dynamic Island will be forgotton after a few days as it does not solve anything new and serves one purpose only which is the destraction from the cutout which will remain always there. The worst thing is that the Dynamic Island comes with so many flaws unlike any other new UI design element (reachability, dirty camera lense, works only in portrait mode and if not there, the cutout will still remain there).
Regarding the rest: let us see whether the Actioon Mode can keep up with Galaxy's SuperSteady (looking forward to your super camera comparisons). The Crash Detection should not bother you as in Europe every new car and most of the cars registered in recent years have this feature in a more reliable way (this is the reason why the feature never became relevant when Google introduced it with Pixel 4). And the AOD, does not reserve even to be mentioned.

@@zedki8553 I just did it. Indeed, the Action Mode looks a lot smoother than the SuperSteady. Kudos to Apple. Interestingly, when taking videos myself with SuperSteady on Fold 3, the results look better than on S22U.

For the first time I can honestly say, it’s not worth the upgrade if you have an iPhone 11 or newer. I’ll be staying with my 13 pro for at least another year.

Only the US models are E-sim, international models come with the sim tool as they still have the sim tray.

Everyone how buys them should give thanks to samsung for making them the LTPO 120HZ REFRESH RATE, in which gives the display the always on display. The Island is still intrusive. Does the Island stretch while watching content? Camera is getting there.
