I was watching the video Here of sewa relearning 360 flips it's 1 minute of him doing from different clips , that kinda helped me just watching that video over and over
I've landed one cleanly and then knocked the wind out of myself I used to Lazer and varial heelflip but I just want to get my treflips down like my heelflip it's a fun trick but I'm in scared no comply tre mode for some reason
@@VNIMANI 😂 ...actually I have landed them on rare occasions, I can land them fakie slightly more often. I was starting to get them and then our town got a skatepark so I didn't put as much time into flatground and kind of lost the feel altogether.
@@alexblazquez2277 right? That’s exactly why I wouldn’t be stoked if a pro showed up at my skatepark because I’m already not that good so by comparison they would just further remind me and everyone else of how much I suck 😂
"Strike a match" is an awesome way to describe the whip. In regards to getting your front foot out of the way... I was taught to "scoop ice cream with your front foot", lol. IDK why, but it made sense at the time. I've also heard people say "draw a clock-wise circle with your front foot". So, if you're following... strike a match with your back foot, and scoop ice cream with your front foot. BOOM! Tre Flip.
I think the key part is at 3:43-3:44 where he jumps a bit to find the perfect balance. Like you really feel the board and are ready to execute the trick
DAMN! I have been flipping my left foot the wrong way the entire time. Can't wait to try flicking it out at 45 in front. Thanks! I think this could unlock it for me!
It did help. Not everyone's backfoot is strong and skillful enough to form the whole 360 flip. I stucked with 360 half flip for a long time before watching this video. Flicking to the opposite side of the reg kickflip, making it like a scissor kick helps me forming the full flip
I just typed in Chris Cole in TH-cam to watch some old skate vids... I've been able to tre flip for years just mine are crappy n low to the ground now they are steezy
The stanky leg lol this was very helpful man I could verial flip all day but could never get full 360 rotation for some reason now I know why my back foot was totally in the wrong spot lol
Anyone have any tips for doing tres on rougher ground? I can do them really good at my park, the ground there is amazing. I just absolutely suck at them on the streets
If you’re struggling with the 360 rotation focus on scooping a lot harder with your back foot. On smooth park ground it takes much less effort than rough streets
I see some people Tre with their shoulders parallel to the board, but I noticed Chris keeps his open the entire time. Is this just personal preference?
Never done a tre flip. But I feel like it’s one of those tricks that doesn’t feel as good doing it as it does watching it from the side. Guess I’ll know once I land one tho lol
Just tried another hour and a half straight of trying this trick. The tutorial makes sense and is helpful but for the life of me I cannot maintain balance while having my feet in that awkward position and trying to generate enough force to make the board tre flip. Have been skating 20 years and must have tried 5000+ times. I imagine I simply lack the talent or ability to generate the correct mindset.
Use your ankle, not the whole leg. I been doing them for 15 years exacly like he does in this video but i just learned the correct way, looks better now , way more effortless. Think about it that way : once your tail hits the groud you can throw your leg as hard as you can and even kick your butt with it but it wont change the tre flip because the foot left the tail a long time ago alredy (all its gonna do is make you look like youre forcing it with all yoir energy) all happens in your ankle scoop in a split second of the pop. Hope that helps
Also for the balance right before it i suggest you adjust yourslef until you find the right spot for you, there is no universal placement everybody have theirs as long as its in the realistic limit for the trick
Every month I watch a new treflip tutorial in hopes that by watching enough of them I may finally land one 😂
i swear bruh me too lmao🤣 then i go out and i can never do it lol

good shit bro keep skating!
I'm 30 and i working on my tre flip😅
3:16 guy in blue shirt at the back completely died
Holy shit. I saw that too. He looks like he injured his wrist, you see him climb out with one hand and his arm's just flopping. Tryna show out
Lol you know he ate shit because his board stayed up at the coping while he disappeared 😂 💀
me irl lol

I really appreciate how trick tips have gotten more specific over the years
"pop it, flick it.. ride away clean everytime"

So much detail, that's a very elaborate instructional.
I was just struggling with tres and saw this in my recommended 😂
did u do it
bro same but its in the middle of night
Haha I can’t really pop shuv consistent at all so I’m like let’s watch tre flip videos 😎
Great tips. Many thanks. Now back on the board.

Exactly it’s all about locking the pop in and using the pressure and correct movement… might be slightly different for each body type/size
Broo tis shi helped me man, i could barely flick but now i could get tha shi now

Dood yes, how come noone else mentions that part
@@cutie1427 cuz Chris Cole is the best

did it work?

This trick tip was super helpful.
Chris cole is a goat.
feel like I've been trying to get this trick dialed for 5 years. Some days its easy other days its a struggle. might try these tips out
Chris is so good at tutorials! One of the best. So underrated
Great explanation. Only a cool dude like Chris Cole would do it like this.
I'm excited to work on my tres now with that head weight distribution tip in mind.
The best tutorial
I’m landed two so far because of these videos 🎉
The stanky leg lol this was very helpful man I could verial flip all day but could never get full 360 rotation for some reason now I know why my back foot was totally in the wrong spot lol
Thank you so much for using charlesthefirst music for your videos❤️❤️ rip ctf
ive been skating 13 years and always struggle with normal tres, ima try these out tomorrow
Amazing teaching skills
Bro u got it done congrats it took me years to get tres down but its been 6yrs since iv been on a board but il get it too yeooow❤
Wow you learned from Pepe! he was our local famous skateboarder and the best. first skater i seen that had style in person.
Yeah dude! 🛹🤙🏻🔥
super good teacher
Chris cole is the man
Strike a match… perfect way to put it
Best advice he gave..."Don't do the stanky leg" 😂💯
Fist time I did a tre, hardflip, and inward heel was from watching slow mo clips
This tutorial helped to perfekt my treflips 😂 thanks chriss

Great video Chris 🙌🙌🙌
that's cool i want to learn how to.
I miss the feeling of tre flips..I gotta get a board and skate again
Actually helpful- thanks
Is there a follow up for the loose trucks
Cole Rules Street Tech!!!
He’s the man 🎉
well i learned two tricks, the first step where you gave the foot position, yea i started to land 360 pops easily and i learned to tre

You can also wax your tail a bit.
This video taught me how to trefilp in 6 mins
This is awesome, you guys would benefit so much more if you made all of these free on TH-cam and make your coin that way.
I see some people Tre with their shoulders parallel to the board, but I noticed Chris keeps his open the entire time. Is this just personal preference?

The one thing Chris told me that he forgot to mention is to keep your arms from going too high in the air.
Ive been battling this trick for so fucking long now
maestro
BACK AND FORWARD motion NINJA LEG!!
If someone can varial flip but is interested in learning tre flips what would you tell them as a pointer ?
Dont think about the Front foot! The Blackfoot is hangin over the tail and U need to so a shovelmotion, completely Backwards
Dont Pop to much
I've landed this trick a total of 3 times out of 100 tries!!!
Every time I try to tre flip i make the 360 but the kickflip lands half way .
Recommended to learn 3shuvs first or does that not matter?
3shuvs are harder for most
💪
When u think abt it when you tre and your legs in the air it is a airwalk😅

@@dont4get2wipe hell yeah let me know if you got them ;) ill start posting some clips soon as well
Spend some time just cruising around with your feet in that position. Once you get comfortable you will be able to tre flip.
I did a clean one earlier now I can't do it again
I’m a kook, I still like the stanky leg tre’s.
Luan and Felipe be like "I'm not a little kid"
Luan's 5'7", Felipe is ~ 5'10" and Cole is 6'1" so weight distribution and foot positioning will prolly be different
Did he 360 flip a big gap (like Wallanberg)? Because i wouldnt trust him to teach my kids how to 360 flip if he didnt

P
If There were pros making how-to videos like this when I was a kid, I wouldn't be such a crappy skater.
this did not help :(
Anime pfp: opinion discarded.
practise and practise
Keep trying. That's all there is to it. It took me months of trying to land it, then even longer to land it consistently.
