I'm shocked at the number of folks who are using mini voice recorders. That's a technology I've never used, as I generally dislike hearing my own voice played back.

Mine was given to me recently (just before Barry’s video on the “dictaphone”) by a wise old friend who has been encouraging me to write. I find it - as he suggested I would - so much better than trying to fiddle around with my phone to use the “voice memos” app. Even when driving, I can reach for it in the “stuff bin” on the console, and just press “record” then “stop.” Super easy and instant, and doesn’t need me to look away from the road ahead of me. It’s a constant companion now!
