All very helpful tips. I try to think in projects. For instance, the other day, I started the morning uninspired, and then, I said: I'm going to photograph "the last day of summer." THAT made me go after shots with a hunger. So I love the ideas you gave in this video, because they remind me to keep that "project" set in mind. Mix and match the themes for even more variety. Great post as always!
Absolutely fascinating, thank you so much for sharing your knowledge, people who care about this art form don’t just go out and shoot they learn that listening to your peers, understanding their advise and then taking it back out on a shoot is what improving and getting better is all about. Thank you again.
Always nice to watch and listen to your reports. Look forward to it regularly. I continued to believe in Olympus (OM-System now) I have many good lenses from M.Zuiko and I hope that OM-System will release a new camera with a new sensor. Not that my OMD-E-M5 Mark III is a bad camera, but it has been on the market since 2019. A new sensor (and camera) could give my lenses an upgrade. This way, OM-System could take its place among all other cameras is my hope Greetings from Belgium Freddy
I still like OM SYSTEM and their cameras. Unfortunately, the video features that I need are not up to date. Thanks for watching, and I hope you enjoy photography.
I enjoy your videos more and more. Great landscape, amazing colors, and yes the mushrooms are always beautiful when they are poisonous or something like that 😂
@@ForsgardPeter The comment wasn't for this video... 😅 You may think I was crazy talking about mushrooms here! Now, the right comment for this video: I really like your videos lately. The approach to street photography you have, the tips you share. I also have a "subject" of my own, house doors. I only regret being lazier than you and don't going out more to photograph my city.
Doors is a great subject. It also something that can be done for many years. You will always have a door to photograph. :). No worries I thought that the comment about the mushrooms were for some other video. A split second i was wondering that did I photograph mushrooms? :)
Great vid, I do a photo walk 2 or 3 times a year on London's South bank and take photos of the Skyline of The City of London across the river. I have years worth of photos and can see how the skyline changes at a frightening rate.
Peter ..greetings from FL..I upgraded my MFT to the Oly OM5 ../( you may have been responsible for this :) ) ..thank you for motivating ...getting used to this pixel shifting feature
I would have gone slower on the first shot 😊 even though I moved away from Bornholm and back to the Faroe Islands, I still live in a place without trains 😅
My Zine is about street art in different places arund Europe. I am planning a book about my street photography. That will also include photos from my travels. A book about Helsinki is alos something I am considering. Yes, all of these will be for sale.

Fantastic video once again dear Peter!
Thank you very much! I appreciate your comment a lot.
Great video Peter. Nearly 30 yrs since I lived in Turku. I loved the light in Finland.
Glad you enjoyed it. Yes, the light... and sometimes the lack of it.
Always nice to watch and listen to your reports.
Look forward to it regularly.

Thanks Peter, once again for a very informative video, ! which helps a beginner like me. Must say I like the look of the Ricoh Gr3
I agree, but it is not only the looks. It is a great camera for what I photograph.
Hi Peter, what is the focal length of the Ricoh GR3x please. And also the full frame equivilent.
The lens is 26,1mm and it's field of in a APS-C sensor is about a 40mm equivalent.
@@ForsgardPeter Do you find the GR3x is a better focal length than the GR3 for street photography?
I enjoy your videos more and more. Great landscape, amazing colors, and yes the mushrooms are always beautiful when they are poisonous or something like that 😂
Many thanks.

Nice video, what lens hood did you have on your GR 3x in the cart pic?
It is from squarehoods.se. I have one for my XF27mm F2.8 lens too from them.

Is the book for sale? I cant imagine too many people have seen Helsinki ?

I love doing street photography, but I only shoot in black and white .
Black & white is the classical way.
