Excellent tour! Enjoyed both parts, church was gorgeous! Sad that you didn’t once mention the piece of analog kit you carried the entire time!

Be aware that Grand Voyager XL is not A5. It is a custom format, it is not as wide as A5. So you have to use their inserts only. You can always ask for a quote for a custom leather cover though. I have requested a quote for a customized pocket one and the quote was around 80 EUR.

Oh my gosh, Barry, this is great! So many wonderful sights, and so much history! I loved all the windows at the Edward VII Hospital. Do you happen to know the name of that beautiful church on Frances Street, and what the denomination is? I am a Catholic, and it looked very Catholic to me. ☺️ The Brook Street Allotment was so charming!! Like a little farm dropped down into the center of everything! Any idea who maintains that area? And the view of Windsor Castle! The statue of the Copper Horse on that hill, surrounded by all those beautiful deer! The Long Walk is just amazing. As a stamp collector, I loved seeing and hearing about the blue post box (!) and the little stamp box, as well as the telephone box. The history of Batchelors Acre is fascinating. The Queen’s statue and and her Corgis! So precious! 🐕 Loved walking through Queen Charlotte Street!!! 🩷 That bit of history about Shakespeare staying at the Garter Inn…oh my gosh!!! Amazing. At my local store there’s a pencil sharpener called m+r and there are two versions of it: one for kids (affordable) at the school supplies department and another (expensive) at the art supplies department. They are packaged differently but it’s the same blade!

I like all that beautiful timber in the ticket office & such a beautiful old Steam Train the Queen is & in such immaculate condition too. I like how Ward Royal has so much greenery & lawns throughout as opposed to some housing estates that are just a concrete jungle. Window Tax, now I've heard it all. Governments find incredible ways to get more taxes at times. Somewhere in Europe I remember hearing about how they imposed a Beard Tax several centuries ago & they would have tubular tokens that men would weave into their beards to show they'd paid the tax. I have ised Pilot Varsity but I would love to a refillable type and cut back on my plastic waste. Can you recommend a 2nd favorite which is fantastic for the price point?
