Its very rare I cry watching any show or movie scene but that train scene in the Americans filled my eyes with tears. One of the best show I ever watched. What a great way to conclude such a masterpiece show.
While I would have been curious to see RDJ in the role of Perry Mason as originally planned, I am glad he reconsidered and instead Matthew Rhys was cast as Perry. And great casting with Juliet Rylance as Della too.
One of my favorite shows of 2020.... Mathew Rhys will always be Philip Jennings to me. Probably my favorite series of all time is The Americans.. amazing acting by Perry Mason cast.. I cried when John Lithgow hung himself... When things never go your way but you've tried your best to turn things around but it just won't budge... You just give up on life ...
Loved this show, watched the 1st episode thinking - this is nothing like the old shows! so dark and intriguing, hated Matthews character at first then grew to love him, great acting, loving forward to s2.
The secret to the success is the horn music/ Where Endeavour had Opera; Perry Mason horn music is outstanding/ plus he rides a Harley come on that alone is spectacular the characters are stellar actors/. but the horn music is the base of it all
Watching hoax hotel, he mentions perry mason. I think..oh love perry mason, lets get a playlist together, so here we end up. Didn’t know there was a Perry mason remake. If it is anything like Sherlock Holmes it’s going to be great.If you have time could you possibly tell RDJ that he is awesome. Thanks
I'm not a fan of social studies history but I guess I see that history is repeating based on historical crisis. Also, I find life very interesting when writers or others like the downey team and parsons well how they can portray a character within the script and bring the person back alive even though life is acting. Also, I think life would be interestingly scary to do grumpy trumpy as well
Ripunjay Srivastava I know the theme from the Raymond Burr series is used at the end of season finale. That may not help, but the wife and I were both pleasantly surprised how it was done in an updated fashion.
