- This week we are at the Hilton Munich Airport and take a tour of Terminal 2 at Munich airport. Also a quick look at a Lufthansa City Line flight to Tallinn Estonia.

Munich airport has grown since I was last there in 2012. Brings back lots of memories of living in Bayern. I stayed at the Kapinsky Hotel at the airport years ago and it was nice but it looks so much nicer as a Hilton. Keep the videos coming!
Yes! I remember visiting you at the old kapinski hotel many years ago. I stayed there as a kapinski the year before Hilton took over and it looked exactly like when you stayed there so it was in desperate need of a renovation

Both flights on Lufthansa? In T2 it is an easy connection. 1 hour should be fine.

Do I need to go through custom is getting to Hilton mountain hub spa in between flights? Is it just walking out like you show.
@@yensullivan2808 the hotel is NOT airside, so you will need to clear customs and do security again. It is a very easy walk

If you stay at the Hilton Munich Airport for a layover (get off the plane, walk to the hotel) can you go to your gate without having to go through security again?
The hotel is airside so you do have to go through security to get back to any gate. The Hilton sits between terminal 1 and 2 so it's an easy walk. But for any connection you would be required to clear customs if necessary leave the secure area and then return to the secure area before reboarding
