I had a large flower made and placed at the head of her casket with the title and graphics pertaining to this song in the shape of a large beautiful decorated heart on a stand. This song's theme was also the chosen one beautifully and professionally mounted inside the lid of her casket. My Mother was a beautiful lady who loved her children dearly. There is no doubt she is in the presence of Jesus. I miss her ohhh sooo much! My Mother and this song will forever remain special in my heart. Rest in gentle and loving peace my Sweet Mama. I was heavenly blessed to have you. Thank you ever so much, Vince and Patty for making my mama's funeral so very special. God Bless you both.

Vince Gill is such a professional. I cant help wonder if that guitar solo was planned or a needed plug in for his inability to continue the vocal. Either way is was brilliant and you could see that playing that solo at that time was soothing his soul.
I think Vince extended his solo by adding that second eight bars to compose himself before the next verse. Yeah, Patty knew he was in trouble and that she would have to carry things if he completely fell apart. Everyone there was feeling his pain, to be sure.
