Not a comment on the wonderful playing, but the recorded acoustic is odd. Distant and tinny; in the Spinning Song sounds almost like a clavichord, even allowing for Schiff's predilection for secco under-pedaling. All the selections sound as though they were occurring through a telescope rather than a natural ambiance.
