Sorry I been away for a while, but I am back!!!!!!!!!!!! 48 Hours in Tashkent is about an adventure I went on SHORT NOTICE to Tashkent, Uzbekistan for 48 Hours on November 22nd, 2019 to cover the Gorilla Fighting Championship ft Umar Nurmagomedov. This was the first ever MMA event in Uzbekistan history and was put on by the Uzbekistan MMA Association lead by Otabek Umarov. With Khabib Nurmagomedov and Abdulmanap Nurmagomedov being guests, along with their team of fighters from Dagestan at GFC20, I was fortunate to being able to come document this history. What I captured will be remembered forever. This is "48 hours in Tashkent"

      God (Allah)is Great!

I bear witness that Muhammad is the messenger of God.

I always loved Frank Mir! He's a thoughtful guy. Lots of people don't know that he thinks deeply about stuff. He's also an atheist. I was always a fan of his. His style was really unique for a heavyweight. He was really technical, and he preferred to use brains instead of brawn. That didn't always work (against people like Carwin, Lesnar, etc.) but he stands out as unique in a class of massive brawlers which were heavyweights at the time. And of course, his jiu-jitsu was awesome! You don't submit Nogueira without being a damn good jiu-jitsu player.
I also think he's a great commentator. He gives good analysis on fighters. I think he's extremely underrated and I wish more people knew about him.

Really impressed by the Dagestani lads always trying to incorporate the English they've learnt. It is a shame that a language barrier would be the reason many great fighters from these regions cant break into the western sphere of fighting as Frank said.

Love this documentary. Love the Uzbek and Dagestan people. Humble and welcoming. Frank Mir is Inspirational and speaks lots of wisdom. I was a fan back when he smashed people. The Mexican trainer is very eloquent and insightful. Greetings and respect to all from Durango Mexico 🇲🇽

The Fact that Khabib is telling Frank like dude realistically how many, when Frank answered him the look was priceless like seriously dude. And i agree with that look Frank just call it man.

Frank is such an amazing man and fighter. I grew up rooting for him and watching him persevere. Still recall his motorcycle accident. Seeing him now, it made me sad when he said his body is beat up and that he’s still fighting.
