Hi Tony. Thanks for sharing the back story on the Chevy II. It's a good-looking car and runs pretty hard. All the work you did on it was practice for getting Crusty up and going!
i was born in 66, my first car was a 65 chevy II. many memories brought back just looking at that car sitting still. my version of the 65 wouldnt lift the wheels. lol
That Chevy 2 probably goes all the way back to Argentia , Bell Island days.. 2:20 the chassis back then were designed on an Etch-a-Sketch, crude but at the time it was what people knew and had to work with. The days of bronze welding and pop rivets, no such thing as fuel injection, turbo chargers or nitrous. A 4 speed gear box, a set of hooker headers and thrush mufflers installed., a guy was ready to take on the world. Cars back then that could do 85 or 90 in a quarter mile was considered fast Thanks for the memories brother.
Question Tony, sorry totally off topic but, did the Eclipse last week make it through your area, looks like Newfoundland was on its path. Just wondering.
Excellent job on the video, very well done and not to long. Thanks for sharing.😎👍
Nothing good happens without a lot of work! Ended up very quick and looking good 👍

This car showed up here in the 90s from the mainland and was raced for few years. It's history was from somewhere on the mainland.

Wow! As Crosty
The rebuild on the 65 Chevy II looks pretty similar to what you've done with Crusty.
Yep. I built crusty much in thr same way. If it's not broke, don't fix it

Yes it did. Our part of the island was too far south for total blackness but partsof the island went dark
Awesome video Tony
