Thank you for showing us this coach. Interesting to see Newell's expertise applied in a non-typical way. The interior finishes/colours are about as far from any choice I would make, but as the saying goes "to each his own".
This must be my favourite floorplan ever. As I have mentioned in one of your previous videos, I have a soft spot for non-slide coaches and the more modern loom and as a freelancer, I would be looking for something with an office (the only one so far is Dean Loucks Prevost). This is exactly how I have imagined my ideal RV, a proper liveaboard with the bunks/closet ready if someone visits you or to be used for storage. The only thing I would have done differently is no toilet and a big shower in the rear bathroom and keep the front half-bath as a head with a small sink.
Watched many great videos from you Andrew. And this is the best rig i've seen (no slides). It seems slides ALWAYS have problems, no matter who builds them. thanks Andrew!
I like that they are willing to do something they don't normally do. The whole point of a custom coach is to get exactly what the customer wants. Plus I love coaches that are fully usable with the slides in, or no slides in this case. Add a shower and a good recliner and I could live in a coach like that.
That was super cool Andrew! If it were me, I still would’ve opted for the shower in the rear! I all about my personal space and being able to control the cleanliness of my environment as opposed to leaving that up to a hotel, no matter how nice it may be! But still a cool and interesting take on a unique custom build!
Another great video, bringing something that no one else is showing. What a great coach, very unique. I am sure not everyone will like it, but the owner wanted it and had it built for HIM, not anyone else. Thanks Andrew
My God, absolutely beautiful interior. I love the fabric over leather but you'll be vacuuming alot more, LOVE the bunks too and I always wondered what a Newell non slide would be like and it didn't disappoint. One more thing, shower please!
Probably others have noticed this, but if people are sitting at those chairs at the desk, people sitting on that couch will not have leg room and walking through that space, will be very tight, if not impossible. Good appointments.
Cool video Andrew, this just goes to show everyone that Newell really is a completely custom made unit, I would imagine that there is no other manufacturer (Class A, B, or C) that would be able to make a custom non slide Coach w/o a shower, they do truly cater to complete customization. Another shot out for the bunk style Coaches!!!
Beautiful coach. Fantastic layout for a non- slide. Just so odd looking to see that rear bathroom 🚽 without the shower the toilet is just too prominent. To each his own but building a bathroom around the toilet just seems odd. My .02
Beautiful Newell. The part that gets me are the comments about non slide aspects like 6,000 lbs. less weight. Like the non slide is a novel concept? Almost all the Prevost’s were non slide until about 2001. I am driving a 2002 non slide Liberty right now and for our use we have not missed the slides. Like fashion repeats itself so does RV design.

Nice coach, but down the road, owner will regret not having a shower. Always prepare for "What If." I can already picture an scene, "Sorry Honey, we can't, we don't have a shower. Maybe next time."
i totally get not doing the shower. Saves so much water when you have a bunch of people and no hookup. Like the NASCAR races we go to, they all have shower houses. you would never run out of water and it will take forever to fill up the blackwater. you could be on the road for weeks.
what the customer wants, the customer gets- Newell do the pilot, co-pilot chairs swivel and face the living room? i would have added washer and dryer even though the plumbing is compromised,,,, beautiful coach indeed
Don’t know what kind of owner doesn’t want a shower. What’s the point of having a multimillion dollar coach with no shower. You’re not going to go and shower at the truck stop or pay a hotel to shower. The owner must not like to shower or is afraid of water lol. Anyway thanks for showing us this RV. Always appreciate you taking the time to show us luxury rvs where we don’t hVe access to see them. About this RV, I will need the quad slides. Not paying this price for no sliders. This owner should have just gone with an airstream if he doesn’t want slides.
A lot of business people and on the road entertainers don't have showers in the rig. They do have plenty of beds and workspace though. They are in hotels at night and the coaches are used strictly for transport so they can sleep/relax while being driven the the next venue.
Even if the coach builder had pre-plumbed for a shower when the customer had ordered a new 2022 coach without a shower when they instantly regret ordering a non slide coach when they do changes to the rear bedroom to have a shower built.
Here's hoping I misunderstood the remark about not having a shower. In close quarters, there must be a shower, lest some regrets. You just can't go wrong having a shower because it's needed. After all, we perspire, don't we? Absent a shower, then at least a bidet.
Seems like a huge waste. Beds, bunk beds at that and not even a small shower, yet space wasted with desk. Hey his money. Still a beautiful Newell as usual. .
@@zepe70 Usually a coach like this isn't a recreational thing. Its usually a business coach/entertainer. Notice the work area? They have a driver move them from city to city. They can catch some sleep when they travel if need be.

I get the idea and it's ok but this build just does not seem to come across nowhere as opulent as other Newells I've seen, the cabinets, bunks and even the electrical outlets are sort of generic off the shelf. I'd like to see a mid-entry version without carpets and silly eco biased materials however with a full bath and a better executed flexbunk.
Its only as opulent as you want. If I went to them and said I wanted a coach with a couch, 18" tv, urinal, shag carpet and nothing else inside, they would build it. The customer got what they picked out.
I like the coach, but that BS about not saving much on the cost by doing away with the 4 slides is just that. BS. Doing away with the 4 slides saved that company a lot of money, and they know it. The sad part is the owner is going to lose badly when they decide to sell it. But as long as the customer is happy that's all that matters.
Yeah, my thoughts exactly... that is as far as gets from a "complicated" build no hydrailics, no slide fitting tracks or seals, no flush floor mechanisms, no paint matching on the slide sides, no moving plumbing, that whole work-station area is just a chunk of countertop braced to the wall... on and on it goes. Seems like if you want no slides the answer is prevost, pretty sure you'd get more than 2yrs structural warranty for your 2 million that way at least.
My guess there is not much savings because they probably have to re-tool their shop for the custom build. There is also different engineering, construction. Savings in materials and equipment could also mean additional labor cost.
I'm sure there is a lot more to the story than what is said. Based on my contract the 4 slides cost me $136K. I'm sure Newell didn't charge the customer for equipment they did not get but yo never know what all the features, requests, upgrades, changes might have been done. When Grant states the difference in price is not as much as you would think, you must consider that $136K is less than 8% of the base brice for a 45'er, so in the whole scheme of things, isn't a huge savings. The take away is that you are not limited to a Bus chassis with Newell, they can design their coach around whatever the customer wants.
@@Zaphod7835 Exactly. I guess as long as the customer is happy that's all that matters. There are a lot of companies that want to make a certain amount from every unit, so I figure that's what this is, and no matter what you cut from the build they're still going to hit that amount when pricing it.
@@Kevin---kx3jy It's FAR less construction to do away with the slides, so they didn't have to retool anything. Why would you have to retool to put in all flat sidewalls when a lot of the coach has flat sidewalls that they have to cut and reframe to install the slides?
Thank God!! Finally a non slides Newell!! Whether Newell or Prevost, any non slides is my favorite - no mechanical headaches.

These are very nice, but that weight 58,000lbs + super low single digit mpg.
The only thing I don't like is the window behind the bed.
