Holy shit, I'm in the video. The last, guess the grade. I actually agree it's more like a V5 in terms of technical/physical difficulty. I think the grade is purely based on it being tall and scary

Got a CT scan, everything is fine, just pulled a lot of muscles in the upper back. @SonnyKnutson he did spot, where we've been expecting a potential fall to happen, but anyway, he wouldn't catch my stupid ass falling flat from a couple meters. I'm going back to this boulder on the next trip in March, though Zarzamorra is the main goal overall, so I'll leave La guillotina for the end, just to be safe
I've seen and tried the buttslide dyno! The gym it is in is hosting the belgian championships this year so they have been using that wall to put up practice boulders for the competitors to come here and train; the buttsilde dyno problem was one of them.

Hard agreement on climbing gyms not being day care. Every time I go at the weekend the place is place is packed with unsupervised toddlers who will run in front of you to spend 5 minutes dangling off a V0 right after you finish brushing the holds on your project.

You talk about the white one at 12:30 ? Yeah, that is V5 to be fair. Maybe V6 just cuz of the bad hold. I feel like Dyno tend to be over graded just because there is a Dyno.
@@frederickgaudet5058 I agree with you but I will say after having gone to check out that gym (North Mass Boulder in Indianapolis, IN) yesterday, all of the white holds they have look relatively good but are absolute garbage. They did however seem to grade pretty easy compared to most gyms I've been to.

I mean, you gotta give our footshape a name. I have great trouble to find shoes for my "greek" feet that don't instantly hurt because the 2nd toe is just plainly getting squashed into the upper fabric of the shoe. Imagine toe hooks where all of the force is concentrated on the 2nd toe because it sticks out so much. I avoid doing toe hooks if at all possible because of them hurts. Hopefully, the Tenaya Tantas I ordered will make a difference...

@@TheValinovHe's talking about his local crag, Elbsandsteingebirge in Saxony, Germany. It's very porous sandstone, so is actually able to take up a bit of sweat, but doesn't handle chalk very well, that's why it's foridden there.
@@TheValinov its sandstone. its porus. it sucks up sweat. it doesnt matter how much harder you could go without chalk, it is forbidden on saxon and czech sandstone. the rock is rought and porus, perfect for slopers. you can hold onto basicly nothing and stand on almost vertical walls. if you dont belive me, come here, ill lead some classics and you can try it out by yourself.
