- US patrol prevents Russian patrol from entering Derik city, northeast Syria, forcing it to return to Qamishi along the border road, in conjunction with the Russian troops' presence in the village of Qasir Deeb north of Derik despite local protest

I did 6 years in the US Navy and we encountered Russian ships many times on the seas and there was never any hatred shown. Once a Russian ship hauled up an American flag as we passed. We lowered our flag as a salute to them. If not for our leaders there would never be any disdain for each other. They were just trying to care for their families just like we were. Salute to all the people who make up the worlds militaries from the US.

They do indeed! My wife was a caretaker 3 years ago for an elderly Russian couple who came to the US. I would go help her when I was off. We teach each other about our languages & danced to keep them active. The woman passed away holding my wife's hand. I felt like I had lost my own grandmother.😢 🇺🇸 🇷🇺
