Homeworld had a awesome and engaging plotline which was the main reason I played it. This feels more like a DLC and it is hard for me to say that I'll pass it though being a die hard Homeworld fan. Nevertheless, the guide is awesome detailed and nicely explained. Props!
saw a lets play by a german creator. made a joke there but can repeat it here: mister dev theres a game in my cutscene. HW3 shurely needed more gameplay, longer missions and better writing. also not if they cut out the detail realism from the other three HW games set in space where you can actually see the radiators on the ships.
The main issue with the game is that it is priced literally way above what it actually is. Secondly, there is so much confusion even with skilled reviewers about the game which is leading to a confused player base who are buying the game for some reason and when it doesn't meet their expectations, boom down goes the rating.
@@kyle2gerrickThere's more than just the campaign.. Skirmish and War Games exist. The latter getting multiple content drops in the ensuing months. Do you all just not notice there's a multiplayer to this game??
They'll add it after all the review bombing going on. Hopefully they put it in with the next update. It is kinda silly they didn't have it with the release.
Game is good but with 3 games before it how did they mess up ship management so much. So bad I keep selecting all tactical units and just attack because half the time they don't do what I ask and the other I can't find some of them. Still, I'm glad Homeworld is back.
It's Homeworld and thus suffered from overhype and not meeting expectations. Arguably missing a lot of skill nuances that existed in the first 2 and the story feels disjointed from the previous titles. AI is sub par and map size inadequate on multiplayer.
@@joshbertin8973 Oh I see, I thought that it would make a decent game but when I checked the reviews on steam they were totally opposite with mostly being negative. So, sadly I had to change my mind to get it.
Stance and upgrade thing was easiest for me to know about but I really struggle witb resource collector and carriers. Specially, due to the lack of guard posts I guess. Xd

Loved the Fear of the Unknown video! I hope and seriously would live to see more such of serious/scary kind of video.
Thanks!
The 1st one is much better in my opinion. The narration, editing and all just creeped me out. Awesome work!
Already watched both :-)
Geez, this is what I was looking for everything in a single 10 minute video wirhout any bs or too much info. Love it ❤
Thanks for the kind words!
Appreciate the video mate, about to get started with the game.
Thanks, have a fun time ;)

your welcome buddy!
I haven't checked it out on this as I didn't quite understand it even after review roundups. I'm just so confused.
Try watching "Skill Up" Review you'll get answer to most of your questions!

@@alcineofficial Yeah just checked and decided to wait for a while.

You pretty much summed it all
Damn exactly what I wanted to say like 70$ for just 10 something hours is a hard pass for me

I love this game
glad to know
Game difficulty will probably get fixed with updates but having no pause option in a solo RTS game is kind of pisses me off like really??
Yeah, I don't know why it is not there is there any specific reason? If so, it is over my head rn

So, are you playing it now?
Why is the steam rating so bad?
DOWNVOTE GANG!

You got it now :)
I recently got it but had to refund it either not my type of game or it lacks content idk what the issue is but definitely not fun (atleast to me)
60$?
What do you mean by Lack of content? Like that was the "reason" to refund it?
@@simonreynolds314I guess its 70$ right now don't know if there is some special discount or something like that
Jokes on you, but I can't even find the game on steam lol
Did you get it now?
The game is okay overall but the AI is trash when compared to Homeworld 1 mainly the ships AI is completely shit.
Yeah I felt that too
As someone who has played HW1, I find this as complete dumbed down,...
In what ways like?
Please tell me this is not a "cash grab" please god NO!!!
I played the original homeworld back in the day, i liked hw3
its bad, really bad. Story is DEI stupid and ship tactics are dead.
