this is growing onto me for sure. love hearing pool players sharing their experiences and opinions and just chat about themselves. anticipating to hear from international players too!
Scott Frost is a great interview ! ...He was a fill-in commentator on a match I watched recently and I was much impressed....I was , before that time , like he himself mentioned of others , only aware of his "killer-like" demeanor at the table .
The one thing that one pocket does for your game it helps you learn how to read the stack and helps you to think outside the box. And I'm so slows you down and makes you think about every little subtle shot. It does help my rotation and eight ball game a lot
True. I am friends with Brandon Shuff and years ago was he was an ok rotation player, he goes on the road and plays one pocket a lot. When he came back home, his rotation game was much stronger too.
I've always been a high level player but how did the pro shuffle family and traveling being a pro.and I think that's the only reason why I haven't made to transition to being pro because there are no prob events in my area I live in South Carolina. But I do make videos and like you I'm just starting off.
Joey Ryan in one word.... Pioneerialistic Inspiration! Only of of those is technically a word. This interview is fantastic, and I can't wait to make my way through the rest. Great work.
Man, this was very enjoyable. Always enjoyed watching Scott play. He seems like a really great dude. You should try and Get Parica. Keep up the good work!
Another fabulous show, great job again Joey .Really wish the producer would have bought Scotts storyline on hustling and poolplayers . Probably would have really helped the game and certainly been entertaining.
Scott is such an amazing storyteller, I was thoroughly entertained. Keep up the great work Joey! I suggest you share this on the Facebook group “pool is not dead”
That's that Killer Instinct Scott Frost is talking about just under half way through when he says something just happens and he switches to a entirely different mode when playing pool Killer Instinct mindset
For the top 5, what about Filler the Killer? Was watching T Rex and Filler playing, as much as a i like T Rex, Filler just cleaned up with no trouble...
I used to love sneaking guys in to play Scott.. I knew how improved, and would just pick the right guy to snap him off.. Last time, though, I could see him turning into a champion before my eyes.. Still got the money, though.. Hehe..
All I will say is yes, he is totally different to talk to outside of a match than during the match against him :). A-hole, intensity, potato pototo :). Good dude though.
@@DogginIt I know a guy like that. He was playing in a tournament and the rules were if you move an object ball accidently (with your shirt, stick, etc, etc) your opponent has the option of leaving it as is or putting it back where he/she thought it was. His opponent grazed a ball with like 3 or 4 left in 9-ball and was going to get out. The guy pointed to the object ball signifying he moved it. He walked up, grabbed the ball - walked around the table and froze it on the cue ball. "Thats where I thought it was." Talk about viscous. But the nicest guy off the table. ANYWAY. If Scott has access to all that footage have you spoke to him about releasing it on youtube? I don't know your experience level but seeing you have a pod cast maybe thats something you could put together. Put it in a series and release 1 video a month or week and see how much traction it gets. No sense in letting it never be seen.
Just tried to watch Viffer aka Dippy Dave play pool and I must say I have no idea what Scott is talking about here, is Viffer seriously any good???? I mean according to what Scott is saying here he really should be but it's just hard to see it in videos on youtube!
Very enjoyable, Joey. I appreciate you putting the effort into getting us to know these influential figures in the pool industry.
Thank you so much for these interviews.
this is growing onto me for sure. love hearing pool players sharing their experiences and opinions and just chat about themselves. anticipating to hear from international players too!
Thank you. I have some international players lined up. Stay tuned.
And thanks for watching.

Dude how did that reality show not take off!? If we had a freaking show about auction garages.
I know. That would have been an amazing show.
That match at Good Timez in Vegas is on TH-cam.
Another fabulous show, great job again Joey .Really wish the producer would have bought Scotts storyline on hustling and poolplayers . Probably would have really helped the game and certainly been entertaining.
I'm sure that show would have been a hit. Scott's a very entertaining guy.
Great stuff!
Scott: How old are you Joey?
Joey: 48..... I was trying to keep that a secret 🤣🤣🤣
Busted!
Scott is such an amazing storyteller, I was thoroughly entertained. Keep up the great work Joey!
I suggest you share this on the Facebook group “pool is not dead”

Great podcast
Great interview. His stories are great. Who was the player he mentioned that he said was beating all the players from Buddy Hall to other top players?
I always said you show me a table with one pocket and we'll play on it 😂
For the top 5, what about Filler the Killer? Was watching T Rex and Filler playing, as much as a i like T Rex, Filler just cleaned up with no trouble...
Stay tuned. Video coming out on this.
Also thank you Joey for the great idea, On and on .
Stay away from Scott if he looks nervous...noted😂😂

Still got the money, though.. Hehe..
I would really like to see you interview Jayson Shaw
Working on that. Thank you.
Hi Joey could you interview Justin Bergman ?
I've heard he is an asshole to play with but maybe that's the "intensity" part you were referring to. He seems cool here.
All I will say is yes, he is totally different to talk to outside of a match than during the match against him :). A-hole, intensity, potato pototo :). Good dude though.

Viffer was taking HUGE spots so no, he’s not very good. But he sure does have deep pockets!
@@DogginIt I see, that makes a lot of sense, I didn't really understand what 'he was getting 18/4' meant..
@@jaroslavcech225 Scott had to make 18 balls to dippys 4
Joey!! Love this episode. Text me if you still have my number.
Thanks Yaser! Good to hear from you and had this episode found it’s way to you.
That show on trutv was awful and I was there when they filmed it . Outright embarrassing and totally fake lol
Youngest looking 48 year old I’ve ever seen... way to take care of yourself
