Not just the delivery person but also the customer. They mark the order as delivered before they actually deliver the order. This causes inconvenience to the customer since they're the ones calling delivery guy and customer service asking for their products.
Had the same experience yesterday and when I talked to the customer care, they were like yeah.. I see your order has been marked delivered. Don't worry it'll reach you.
Blinkit is much better atleast from the service point of view. Zepto, not so much.
This startup is solving problems that don't exist or even existed for a small amount of time.

Most of the startup are like targeting herd of sheep . Bas kuch aa gaya usko follow karte chalo. Ek naya aya usko follow karo. Last mein kahani khatam. Yeh sab ke sab bekar app hai. Aaj tak maine ek bhi use nahin kiya .

What a shit start up. No one actually needs 10 min delivery and the delivery guy will have to do rash driving to ensure delivery on time. It just puts everyone at risk.

In a country like India , where there are grocery stores literally around every corner of the locality in most cities and towns , I doubt if this business will survive for long , let alone make a profit . Also most people would rather buy from a shop than order online.

This guy's aren't the youngest entrepreneurs to run a huge startup they are PPL who are even smaller then this guy's and successful.

I think they operate on Dmarts strategies. They charge shelving rates to store products and they make profit off of it. I think it's a very good strategy since it's been proven by dmart since decades.

COPIED IDEA. Same buisness models are already present in china. Even in small cities like Nanchang, China are already using it. How I know? one of my relative is there in that city and he told me about this about 2 years ago.

For example I may get an idea to open space exploration company of India but firstly people here aren't really interested in it except a few rich maybe and then again cost for doing it is too high , getting customers is also a headache.

American investors have invested in this startup since it's a real problem in the USA. In India this is a classic example of solving a non existent problem. It
sounds very flashy to hear 4000 cr startup but USP at the root level not sure how it will help Indian market.

Never forget one thing that the sole purpose of a company/startup (or whatever the shit people may call them) is to make profit.
Zepto incurred a loss of INR 390.3 Cr on a standalone basis in its first year of operations in financial year 2021-22 (FY22). Bro this companies are just burning people's money....most of them will never see any profit in future and will be shut and the ones at the top will get their money by just simply selling their shares, they have nothing to do whether the company gains profit or not, they just hype the startup and increase its valuation and then slowly sells their sahres.
Bro Can you please explain then how One founder is worth Rs 1000 crores and other one with 1200 crores. I know they raised 360 million dollar in funding. But how investments directly add to their networth ? They only earned around INR 140 cr net income and had a 390 cr. Loss in this year. then how?
In the year 2022-23 their loses widened to 1200 crore from previous 300 cr, and revenue increased by 14x i think you are halfway right. Lets see more of it in coming future.
But this business model isn't for India!
Because India has too many grocery shops in 50-60 metres areas
So this is for country that they hasn't many or less grocery stores.
It was just a marketing gimmick. They almost take 25-30 mins to deliver even after the dark store is just 3mins away from my house!

Ya I know, I worked in a store just like this, you may heard of Blink it. There are PICKERS who pick your order, they have 60 seconds for that and then there are BILLERS they have 60 sec to make bill and count all items and other 8 mins are given to DELIVERY BOYS to deliver it. So thats how it works.

I think a large part of the demographic are not questioning the "intrinsic value" as to why the business is worth so much. Rather it's being construed as an amazing startup as it fits the whole narrative of teenagers building a billion dollar business and disrupting something as simple as grocery . Moreover the success of a business is measured on valuation metrics and hence the everyone wants to hop onto the hype train of billion dollar valuration .Will be interesting to see how much skin in the game they have 🤔.

This is the copy paste model basically from Europe.These countries have good roads and different paths for bicycles so no traffic and person can deliver things in 10 minutes. Moreover these are planned cities like Chandigarh. We buy things freshly from market. But they will sell the the freezer one. So gain full knowledge then make videos.
