That last TD will give me chills for the rest of my life. Listen to the screaming as the ball goes up (8:00). An absolutely electric moment. I think that this is the way I will remember both Henne and Manningham. Thanks for posting, WH. I've been waiting for this one.
I'm glad you included the play at 3:30-4:05 where Hart picked up the Mallet fumble. I think that was the game changing play of the game. State had all the momentum at that point, if they had fallen on the ball, they would have already been in field goal range and could have wasted a lot of time. Instead Michigan managed to even get a first down. Wish you had time for the long run by Ringer at the end of the third though.
Mark Ortmann, as a member of Panther Nation, I'm sorry that you got released. I hope that you can sign on with another team and make John Fox regret this decision. Best of luck.
It's supposed to be slow. After a victory, the band plays it slow like that and sways back and forth as a way of laughing at the losing team. Then they play the Victors at normal tempo afterwards. It's a little tradition that started in the 90's.
This is a must-win game this year for a lot of reasons. Winning this game will prove to the media and the haters than Michigan and MSU aren't reversing roles in the least. All my Spartoon friends harp on about how "the past doesn't matter." If we win this year, all of a sudden the last two years will be important in their eyes, which is why I loathe Sparty in a different way than Ohio State...pure justified condescension.
I am confused here about this game.I was watching the most recent game between these 2 teams when Wayne Larravie said that Michigan State has beaten this team 3 times in a row for the first time since the mid 1960s.But this game does not indicate that at all.
It makes me so mad that the Detroit Lions didn't draft as many Wolverines as possible over the last few years. I would love to be watching Chad Henne handing the ball off to Mike Hart or throwing it downfield to Manningham at Ford Field. Not to mention guys like Stevie Breaston, Lamarr Woodley. The list just goes on and on. I loved the 4 years Henne and Hart were together. Some magical moments.
Wow I miss watching Michigan when they played with an attacking offense and didn’t hold back. Sling the ball and give your athletes a chance. Conservative football doesn’t work anymore ask harbaugh
mike hart picking up the mallet fumble and running it for a first down saved the game
What a player Manningham was.
God I miss Chad Henne. When ever he was on the field and Lloyd wasn't holding him back with 1970's play calling, he tore defenses to shreads.

Lmao at the late hit penalty. Every player around him was like "Are you serious?"
He said the last time MSU beat us 3 times in a row was in the mid 60's.
Last year, they got 2 in a row over us for the first time since 1966.
If Mich could've won the 06 n 07 game against osu.💙💛
4:29 hahaha I love watching that. Only MSU...
The moment of silence at the end was the icing on the cake.
Go BLUE Forever!
Thanks for straightening things out.
5:14 Might be the prettiest throw Henne ever made...
