I am from Tunisia, I visited Albania, a very beautiful country , serviable and nice people, contrary to what is being promoted, Albania is a very safe country and all the people there welcome the foreigner. The country is unfairly portrayed in the media as a dangerous monster, but it is quite the opposite . Much love to Albania and Albanian from Tunisia

This is what you get when 100’s of years of propaganda intruduset from slavic people to the world.. potraied uss like wild animals who would kill anybody, we sre just some few million who just mind our busnies..
If you had heard what they did sayd in yugoslavia days you would think we were some cold murders etc, i just want to say one things on then image what more they say «if you go lost never sleep in Albanian houses because they will kill you at the night, if you Get invited never go if you have no choise dont sleep be awak and prepered so they dont kill you at your sleep»
How do i know it because and slavic stund of my fathers did tell him after he sleep at our house, he dident sleep all the night and then he told my father that he dident expet how well they treated him because of what he heard of our people, my family was in shock and told him Even then worst enemy if he is invited at our houses he will be like at his house Nothing will tuch him..
Even today at Serbian and Macedonian school children learn about how bad Albanian are that we are wild people, in year 2023 they still learn there children this at there school and europe dont say Nothing, if we did that the europe would make noise againts uss

Albania is a Beautiful Country, that must be Visited, People are shocked how clean the country is, and how welcoming , and friendly the people are to outsiders and Tourist, while a small country, there are endless recreational activities, urban hiking, bicycle riding and tours, Bus Tours, and Train Tours are popular in the Country. The Food is very good, and Restaurants serve local favorites as well as European dishes, The Music of the County is Unique, and Entertaining, History Buffs will enjoy Touring the many Historical locations in the Country, Tour the Many Lakes and Forested Area's these are superb places for Photographers, We have been twice in the last 5 years and love visiting the Country, Tourist are Safe, and its easy to travel through the Country, with no issues. When I was a boy-60 years ago-I used to enjoy listening to Radio Tirana. It came in clear and loud to our home in Florida, USA. Also, as a boy then, I loved the voice of the Radio Tirana woman who broadcast her reports in perfect English. She sounded so young and beautiful, I used to dream of meeting her! Since then, I have always wanted to visit amazingly beautiful Albania 🇦🇱 and meet the people personally and drink their beautiful wine made from the grapes I have heard of and drink to my Albanian friends and the world in *_Peace._* Today, the radio bands are so noisy I can no longer hear Radio Tirana so I don’t even know if it still exists. If not, then I bid you farewell from Washington State, USA, where I live today, and I hope that the Radio Tirana Lady is well and happy! Many Blessings to you all!

2- Albania doesn't have a border with serbia
10-Tirana had and stil has only one pyramid. And it was never known as the city of pyramids.
13- Albanian alphabet is 100% based on the latin alphabet unlike its neighbours who use the Cyrillic alphabet and the Greek alphabet. It has more letters because we combine two letters to express a different sound like d and dh or n and nj or s and sh.
16- the landmass of albania is 28,748 km2.
There are gender pronouns in Albanian.
    Ai=He
    Ajo=she
    They (males) = Ata
    They (females) = Ato.
Albania doesn't have an equivalent of it.
22- it is not a crime to whistle or sing loudly. we consider it just rude.
23-Actualy it is Albania, Kosovo. Bosnia and Turkey that are a majority muslim country in europe. (Yes Turkey is mostly in Asia but istambul is split between europe and Asia)
25-Just a clarification: The sworn virgins are called "Burrnesha". They change to mens clothes, cut their hair short, change their name to a male name, never marry, take the duties of males, and are treated and respected as man. And we adress them as He.
31-driving a dirty vehicle is not a crime. as for one in poor condition is a crime everywhere. But in Albania it is not enforced.
42- those who have cold hands are sincere according to our superstitions
    66-the speedboat moratorium is over.
67-there are no siestas anywhere in albania. And if a shop closes it is only if the owner goes to eat lunch because often a shop owner stays in the shop form 7am to 10pm. maybe with a small lunch brake.
72-If you meet and albanian for more than 2 minutes the conversation will shift to politics and 100% of albanians will insult the president and the prime minister. half of them will insult the one in power and the other half will insult the one that was before.
    - Albania doesn't grow coffee, weed and tobacco are the best in europe.
96- 1 year without a visa is only for US citizens. All the others can stay up to 90 days without a visa.
Great job with all the rest of the curiosities

2- Albania have border with Serbia only not with so called Kosovo! Kosovo & Metohija are not recognized as independent country. Its Serbian territory under UN protection. Thats say UN resolution 1244 (which is still valid, and it's not replaced or cancelled), also Kosovo & Metohija is not member of any international political organization and it's recognized by less than half of the world.

    • @albihadroviq179
      @albihadroviq179 ปีที่แล้ว

@Rasterivač Magle Realy??? So let's say that Kosovo is already recognised by the ones that matter: THE PEOPLE OF KOSOVO. So you keep dreaming Slopodan Milosevic return to power but it will not happen.
Kosovo was a country long before your hordes came to the balkans in the 7-8 century and 13-14 century. It was called Dardania.
Why don't you ask yourself why the slaves are called jipsy all around Europe?
Slavic people are not Romani or Jipsy.
It's because you used to live the same exact way like jipsy. Nomadic people wondering the world and decided to settle in the Balkans.
Now you who have no rights live in these lands tell us Autoctonos that we have no Country?????
You Serbs are the desease of the Balkans.
You infected the Croats, those proud Ilyrian tribe called Dalmatian, and you changed their language but couldn't delete the history.
You infected the Macedonians and changed their language but could delete their history.
You tried to do the same with the Albanians of kosovo and also tried a few times to cross to our land as well.
      But this time you failed.

before talking about a country, you should read the history, heroes, traditions, religion, culture, etc.. Albania is not a Muslim country, it is a secular country with 3 religious beliefs. Catholic, Orthodox and a part of Albanian-speaking Muslims from Turkey who stayed in the Albanian lands since the time of the Ottoman invaders. the majority of the population are not believers, it is the oldest country in Europe, with the oldest language and a people suffering like the Israeli people and maybe even worse because Albania has not fought a war for conquests, others have conquered and ruled by robbing land, history and so on. Serbia, Greece and Turkey are responsible for this, but the Albanians have survived and will survive as long as the sun and the earth exist/

I was impressed with the small capital, Tirana, surrounded by mountains very recently. More young Albanians speak English, unlike Turkey. Littering is rampant, less visible Abaya wearing women. The economy is thriving and the women gaining more gender equality aspiration. The food is more continental European. Very refreshesing after staying in Turkey where the food selection is mostly Turkish.

This video has so many things wrong.
0:57 is the wrong spelling. It is spelt shqiptarët. 1:04 this is the wrong pronunciation. It is pronounced as (Shpuhreea). 1:52 the letter "xh" is pronounced like the english "J". So you basically proncounce his last name as "hoja". 2:21 the letter "q" is pronounced as "ch" and it is the wrong spelling. It is spelled like this "kokë qingji ".
2:49 I don't know but those letters look Latin based to me. 2:52 that is completely wrong. There are masculine and feminine nouns and there words that change. For instance for boyfriend it's "i dashur" and for girlfriends it's "e dashur". Also the verbs also change. "yt" for men/boys and "jote" for women/girls.
4:43 while Albania is majority Muslim, so is Bosnia.
5:27 well those are dialects of the Albanian language.
7:21 the letter "e" in Albanian is pronounced as "eh" or the same way you pronounce the "e" in the word "bed". And it doesn't change
7:39 wrong pronunciation and spelling. It is spelled "Xhiro" and it pronounced as "jeero"
8:42 again the letter "xh" is pronounced as a "j"
9:00 that is also incorrect. The Letter "c" is pronounced as "ts" as in tsunami. However there is a letter "ç" which is pronounced as "ch". I see you understand that the letter "xh" is pronounced as "J" yet you have mispronounced this letter throughout this video.
9:16 again, you pronounce the "e" the same way you pronounce the letter e in the word "bed"
9:30 the letter "ë" at the end of words is silent.
10:27 wrong pronunciation. the letter y has a strange pronunciation, you would pronounce it like the "u" in french and German.
10:35 again, the wrong pronunciation of "e"
11:47 wrong spelling and pronunciation. It is spelled as "Gjakmarrja" and the letter "j" is pronounced the same way you pronounce the letter "y" in english.
    12:48 it is spelled "Gjirokastër"
13:07 wrong spelling and pronunciation. It is spelled "fier" and it pronounced as "fee-ehr"
13:21 wrong spelling and pronunciation. It is spelled "Skopje" and it's pronounced as "skopeejeh"
14:21 the "i" in Albanian is pronounced as "ee"
17:50 that is true if you are an american. it is different for other countries.

Actually During the Reign of Gjergj Kastrioti Skanderbeg, If a couple wanted to get married the groom had to plant at least 10 olive trees. If you take the old road from Fier to Vlora (not the highway), near the entrance to city of Vlora, you will see hills full of 600 year old olive trees and we call them "Ullite e Skenderbeut" meaning "The olives of Skanderbeg" because of the law that he made in 1446, albania is full of these olive trees and they still produce olive once every two years.

So many mistakes in one video, lol. Even though i appreciate the fact that someone tried to make this video to get people to know more about Albania, i must specifie that there are so many inconstencies, such as for example we do have gender in our language actually there the names can be feminine, masculine or neutral. Also its not a crime to drive an old car, its not a crime by no means to whistle and sing in public, Albanians are known for showing their feeling both through songs and melody. Frogs are not a common food, its mostly reserved to foreigners, most people would never dare try eating a frog. We are nomally muslym majority, but most people are really agnostic and do not really care what religion or if you practise a religion at all. The area is almost 29,000 km square, etc. Despite all that, we appreciate having taken the time to compile this video and we thank you!

@@azizkozmaqi9395 Yes you are right but from the modern point of view. You should consider that in the time when surnames were created craftsmen dealing with clocks or watches were also the ones who were making them and not only repairing. Even though in the modern times craftsmen are schooled to know how to make and how to repair clocks or watches. Some of them are employed in the watch making industry and some open a shop in which they are only repairing the watches. But all of them are called clock makers or watch makers and in the same way you have shoe makers and Shoemaker or Schumacher surname derived from the name for the craft.
