I've been researching tiny living for 4+ years. I know what I want in a tiny house, I'm interviewing builders, and it will become my reality. Maybe even with chickens & ducks. A friend who went tiny 2 years ago hung 2 photos of herself - pre-tiny and current - side by side. You can SEE the happiness on her face (she even looks younger now!). Your happiness is up to you. No one else can tell you what that should look like. I'm enjoying your videos. Thank you!
Nice to see you actually moving around and showing the house being used. With the space situation, someone else could easily be reading on the couch and another person in the loft. I live in a huge Queen Anne, and I love all my spaces. I could probably live tiny, but I have a lot of things to get rid of. Also, I like to dress, and love shoes! Not sure how I could make that happen tiny. :o) Regards from Indiana!
I saw a video of some large palace villas in Tuscany, and, frankly, I like your British Columbia tiny home better. How much can one or two people spread out before they get lost in all their real estate? One thing that would be hard for me would be my surround-sound system. I would probably need a separate Quonset hut for my audio fixes. Or, if there aren't any neighbors nearby, I could have outdoor audio sessions in the fair weather. I wonder if adding a tiny porch to your entry to allow inner doors and outer doors. You know about the value of those, being Canadian.
For a few dollars you can buy a small basin to use in your kitchen sink as a divider. Fill the basin w soap and dishes. Wash them. Place them in the sink after washing. Then rinse dishes in the other side of the sink
The lego cabin is sitting on display in our second loft. You have to go up there so see it, its a hidden gem in our home now :D. Yeah the dogs do that all the tme and its so adorable!
awesome living and loving your life :) i imagine having more than one chef in the kitchen is challenging. plus s e x in that bedroom seems like it'd be "confining" :D but you can do *that* anywhere lol.
Alright! Yeah, imagine it helps with the creativity and keeping things interesting. :o) That aside, I can't imagine sleeping that close to the ceiling. My tiny would have to have a downstairs bedroom. Regards from Indiana! @@wickedlife
I’d like to point out to any viewers from the U.S., that this lifestyle is far more attainable in Canada because of HEALTHCARE. So many people cannot spend their lives pursuing their passions while still being positive, contributing, responsible adult members of society because we do not have the certainty of healthcare without insurance we pay for through an employer. Sad & nonsensical.
good evening ... im a fairly new sub here .. i believe i have watched your last 3 videos ... as i am living in a tiny space .(15x30 ft ) so i was intrigued with how others are getting along ... BUT .. while you were making your chicken noodle soup and chopping up the carrots .. it thought i saw you put the carrot peel in the regular garbage bin ... and thought nothing much of it .. but then you went on to say you have chickens .. so this confused me ... why would you not let you chickens clean up your scraps ?... it may seem like a silly thing to confuse someone ..but living a tiny life is mainly for cost effectiveness and feeding chickens table scraps seems like that would be the most frugal way to get rid of some of the daily garbage from the home ... but i also dont know your garbage disposal methods and if you have to pay, either by bag or by pound or what not .. but i can assure you those chickens would sure love a treat from the kitchen now and then and even if they dont eat it all the soil that the chickens walk on would absorb that within a month or two and would also benefit.... but like i said i dont know your particular situation and you do have your own choices ... with that being said .. i do enjoy your videos and even your skits ... have a great day .. !!
Hey! Thank you so much for watching our videos. We really appreciate that, especially from another person who is living tiny 😁. Our chickens do get a lot of table scraps, and for some reason, they don't seem to care for carrots at all. We've given it to them before, and they have never touched em. So there are some things we do feed the. And some things we don't. Perhaps we just have picky chickens 😅.
@@wickedlife fair enough ..a wise man once said you can lead a chicken to carrots but you cant make them like them ..( or something along those lines ..lol)... ... definatly wont deter me from enjoying your channel ... i enjoy what you two are doing and look forward to more great content ...

Hello and thank you for your video. Is there a chance your sink could have a divider inserted???

Thats a great idea! We might have to look into doin that.
Where is the Lego cabin now? And your doggos laying in the form of a heart is so sweet.

EVERYTHING in a tiny home is more challenging haha
Ah, someone else thinking like I was ;o) I opted to not comment but was thinking something along the lines of, I guess it's missionary only!
@davidcattin7006 hahaha. There's plenty of space to move around in other spots of our home. Our couch for example leaves plenty of room to sit up 😅
