Think it depends on the climate, regional road materials, topography and the amount of heavy vehicle trafficking the roads daily in between race seasons.

Or F1 making the rules and deciding how much it will take to pay them off.
Their corruption is up there with the FIA and the Olympic committee.
Americans are new to F1 and haven’t learned how the game is played.
If they say repave everything that’s what you have to do.
      Repave or lose race.

The weather here in Las Vegas is going to be a huge impact on the roads

In Monaco they repave parts of the track every year and I'm pretty sure we dont have even half of the traffic there probably is in Las Vegas.

They do it more to show off and because they throw money at it. It's not because it really needs it! Also Monaco is a tiny track in comparison, so there's not that much to re-surface :)

@@mrtickleukI can tell you there is nothing about showing off, it's just mandatory to keep the track at f1 grip level . Yes its tiny but it's still important work mostly done at night in order to avoid trouble for the locals and the 100 000 people (no joke, real figures) coming to Monaco everyday, mostly for work. Las Vegas is mostly a giant monaco, with its own specificities of course but Im pretty sure the trouble generated by such event will be the same.

So the extreme heat that warps our current pavement on the streets is different? Oh ok. I drove the track the other day and it is bumpy in my street car. Don’t believe the hype from Las Vegas paving.

    TRUST ME.
Your going to have to repave the ENTIRE course EVERY YEAR!
You can have cars and trucks 24/7 364 and expect F1 to deem it acceptable to their standards.
The greed and corruption in F1 is legendary.
Don’t repave, we don’t race is their attitude.
THEY make the rules NOT the host city:

As much as I love F1, not a single thing you said was a lie.

Nope. The news report is correct. The other street tracks simply don't get done every year. Miami only had to be re-done this year because they screwed up badly last year and laid the wrong surface!
