Yeah, I like the excavate mage package but a lot of mage cards are basically discover other stuff sixty times, and Sif will probably be the main wincon for mage decks for a while
Don’t say this in Reddit they strongly believe that mage is easily counterable with building a board so they use their arcane bolts and snake oils to clear. (They discover 100 clears)
Sif has gotta be one of the dumbest cards at the moment. Like if you are even slightly a more midrange/control deck you just lose if you don't win by turn 10.
I haven't played this game since 2019. I wanted to see what it was like nowadays out of the blue. This looks like an absolute nightmarish clusterfuck of nonsense.
Yeah, if you're missing 4 years of context I'm sure anything will look incomprehensible. I hope you never take a look a current Yugioh, your brain might melt LOL
it’s reasonably more fun and different compared to the last few years, but yah definitely a lot more keywords and classes going on. cards are way more powerful than they used to be
@massi0729 no, not always. I found a video of Kripp playing jade rogue from like 2017 or whenever gadetzan came out, and that is a perfect example of simple synergies between cards that are easy to understand that combine together to interact favorably with your opponent to give you the incremental advantage. This, I don't even know what the hell this is.
I tell you, Reverberation is a huge contender for least fun card to face they have made in a long time.
Rework it to still give the dmg effect to the target, but add a copy that keeps all other enchantments to hand that costs 0
@@Resil27021too convoluted, a mana increase or preventing the copy from using an ability until the next turn sounds more fair.
It's so filthy, especially with the insane number of Rush/Charge cards in Standard
Mage has been so annoying to play against recently. It seems like they can do everything while having Sif as a boring finisher.

Yup, I don't play against Mage. Rather lose a star than my sanity lol
Mages never had a bad time tbh

They shouldn’t have buffed Maxitude that hard

Weird how metas are different for other people. I've played a good 200 games this month and have only seen Sif played once.
Reno ain't much better.
Board control for two turns, guaranteed. One card.
Even a Deathrattle Taunt can't stop the onslaught.
Blizzard has really gone crazy with Discover effect, eh?
What's the logic behind Miracle Salesman in this deck? Is trading the snake oils that good?
1 mana 1 draw, and is free from any anti spell effect
Yep! Having one mana left over and being able to use it to draw is pretty useful (even if a future draw is, potentially, worse)
Kibler, master roper.
👏🏻
Once your opponent plays, ‘infinitize the maxitude’ turn 2, haven’t you already lost? You should concede!
Not with most people I play against (I use Reno quest mage in wild)
@@TheBigMan0706 Wild is a bit different than Standard.
Am I the only one who got two unskippable 15 second ads before the video?
Fun deck

look at all these revertbration
What’s the point of that blood dk playing 40 cards and a bunch of card draws to cycle through the deck? 😅
card draw always good
