YAY! They underestimated her all throughout their season but she got the last laugh. Sharon and Jinkx paved the way and Bianca set the bar high after that. I could not be more proud.
The only winner that I liked after bianca was Bob the drag queen.. never watched rpdr after season 8 .. and I still ruwatch season 6 everynow and then.

I love that Jinkx tried to not concern herself with other queens, especially when Roxxxy threw a lot of harsh shade her way. Still, she did everything she could to remain professional, and at the end of the day she graciously forgave Roxxxy because she was strong enough to just let it go- like water off a mother fuckin' duck's back.

She is consistently outrageously funny without being mean. Her being bullied by Rolaskatox and only to win the title of America's Next Drag Superstar is only the icing on the cake.

Yep and you hear that sentiment from others on the show. If the show was only about who can create the best, most consistent outfits then it would be called something like "Ru Pauls Project Drag Runway!" and Roxxy would have probably won in all honesty. But Ru Paul's career is what is reflected in the show and she is where she is today because of her talents and not just her looks. She's had a successful recording career, acting, creating and hosting TV shows, and has always included comedy in whatever she does. Kudos to Roxxy for not making the same mistakes on Allstars but damn she was clueless on her original season.
Ema Nim That’s why I love both of them! Jinkx seemed hurt by the things she said, but was the bigger person by not attacking back. Roxxxy was mean, but she owned up and saw that her words were hurtful. Both are so talented and thoughtful I really enjoy watching them!
I feel like Jinx's most defining moment was when she bowed to Detox to honor her journey after their lip-sync. For me, that was the moment I knew Jinx was the true winner.
I LOVED the Spanish gig she did on Drag Race. That had me in stitches. She is SO DAMN TALENTED folks she needs her own TV show. Like a new version of Carol Burnett or something. She would be FANTASTIC in that. She was just born for the stage and not a lot of folks have that gift.

HBO did a ‘reenactment’ of it and added in some ‘background’ from earlier years’ but I have no idea of it’s true. In the HBO version Drew Barrymore plays little Edie and it was pretty spot on and Jessica Lange played Edit. If you never saw either I recommend just to see how well Jinx NAILED it. She was wearing that coat all the time and had that condition where your hair falls out so her head was covered.

my number one favorite queen to have ever been on the show. a brilliant actor, singer, and impressionist who knows her way around classic/old school pop culture like no one's business. i'm still so genuinely surprised that they won not only because they didn't have the loud and quippy personality outside of challenges that the show usually loves, and that they aren't the show's go-to instagram model type. not that there's anything wrong with those queens, but the show definitely has a bias towards them and it was so refreshing to see an "underdog" performer finally make it to the top.
Her day of the dead runway is one of my favorites of the whole series. I liked her since she walked into the werk room. Like her so much, she inspired the name of our dog when we adopted her. Spell it Jynx though.

Much like Johnathan Van Ness, Jinkx's personality is so delightfully infectious. People like them are an inspiration for those who don't quite "fit in" with the "normal world." In MY case; I've lived with Congenital Hydrocephalus for thirty-five years, never played sports (besides Little League Softball,) I was mocked for being a bookworm (as well as for having special needs) and I have what you call...an olde soul. This means I have a strong chivalric spirit and strive to show it off in any way I can. For these qualities, people have called me "weird" and there were times where their words hurt me a bit. But I look at my fellow Brothers and Sisters in Hydrocephalus, the fabulous queens from the race and the LGBTQ+ community and feel inspired by how much pride they take in just being themselves

I just watched season 5 all the way through for the first time, and now I understand why people say she may be the best winner of Drag Race ever, because she truly grew so much yet stayed so true to herself and even fought through wave upon wave of harsh bullying and judgement. One of my favorite moments from Jinx is when she cried while Ivy was going home, and it really showed that she would miss Ivy and that ATLEAST one Queen has a heart ❤️

I just watched season 5 all the way through for the first time, and now I understand why people say she may be the best winner of Drag Race ever, because she truly grew so much yet stayed so true to herself and even fought through wave upon wave of harsh bullying and judgement. She managed stayed kind and perseverant through it all, and now she's one of my favorite drag queens ever 💖
