That geometric background works surprisingly well with the softness of the layering rose stamp. It might just be because you have the talent to pull it off, but your card is SO beautiful. Love your color choices, always appreciate your inspiration, thank you!

Laura the 'Build a Rose' maybe quite a few layers of stamping but WOW what an image - it is so life like I love it! The back ground is absolutely stunning too but that is your doing Laura, the Rose is (some of your doing) but mainly its the Altenew stamp layering and it is amazing! Thank you for sharing this with us crafters. I certainly will be blog hopping. :O)

Just gorgeous Laura. You make the stamping look so easy. I have a misti and I have tried so many times but just don't seem to be able to get the last 2 stamps in the right place. I known I could leave them out but have you any hints or tips I could use for the final 2 stamps. Thank you for all the fantastic inspiration. I have learned so much. 💕

I have this rose set and it is 'Gawjuss'! Cool idea to put the geometric in the background and good point about the envelope punch board. That is why I bought it too! Why do we always have to have standard card sizes!

Thank you so much Laura, I love your cards and videos! Can you do a video on how you made your adoreable seed bead ring?! I asked Altenew if their ink pads are felt based but I didn't get a good answer. It looks like they are from the video. You know the stamping industry really well, are their ink pads made by the same company that makes the ink pads for Paper Trey Inc.? PTI also has a similar color strategy with their ink pads, but because of the felt pad, not all their colors (esp. the lighter colors) work that well with flat images (ie. splotchy, uneven coloring, which is why they use the "rock and roll" technique a lot with their card samples), EXCEPT for these layering stamps, which they are perfect for, because the layers beneath get some more ink as you build your image. I know this is pretty much a white label industry, every company as a handful of manufacturers they go to to have their stamps, dies and ink pads made from, ie. Stewart Superior does the ink pads for Hero Arts, Lawn Fawn, SSS, etc. So my QUESTION TO YOU is, are these Altenew ink pads made by the same supplier that PTI uses? If I don't hear back, thats ok, I can see from the video that the ink pad base looks like a firm felt type pad which is identical to PTI. Stampin Up used to use the felt pads but they switched over to a foam pad and I think it works better honestly (made by Color Box, the same company that makes the ink pads for MFT I believe). Since their inks are soooooo expensive I'm trying to do as much due diligence as I can before I think of buying a set.

WOW, so stunning. Seriously, how DO you see these geometric shapes in a stencil like this???? You can turn the most simple stencil into a gorgeous pattern??? I must be totally daft...LOL
What a great card. You make it look sooooooo easy and I'm sure it is for you. My question is what paper do you buy and what if you have a larger card that requires paper larger than 12x12?
That’s beautiful! I love that stencil, too! I just wish it was a little bit bigger so that one wouldn’t have to move it around when inking an A2 panel :-)

Thanks for sharing another inspirational video! I bought some Altenew dye inks recently and used them on some clear stamps...do you have any tips on how to keep the ink from getting splotchy? The ink looks great on this video.
From my experience, the more you stamp a stamp the better, more smother results you get. Sometimes the problem is with the stamp & not the ink. Make sure you ink from all over the ink pad & not just in one spot. Hope that helps!
So beautiful. My flowers never come out with so much detail. It’s like the ink bleeds too much into each other. And I am using Altenew stamps and inks. 😒
What do you think of the ink cubes? I just discovered Altanew and want all of the colors right now so I thought cubes, but I am wondering if I will kick myself for not getting the larger pads instead although I would have to get those slower. Please help with your opinion! Do the cubes dry out fast?
I am really impressed with the Altenew inks. They stamp very well and have a ton of beautiful color choices. I have just a few cubes. I mostly prefer the full size so that I don't have to peck away like a bird trying to cover a larger image with a small cube. BUT if I were just trying to sample something new to see if I liked it, I would definitely try first with a few cubes.
And I forgot to add that they do not dry out.
Maybe just get a few of your most used colors in full size, but not all.
