- Inspired by a lovely card by Erin Tasneem on Pinterest, I've used Beautiful Day Stamp set & dies with distress oxides to create this pretty card. Hope you enjoy and thanks so much for taking the time to visit my channel xx

I love this technique for colouring the flowers - so much easier than trying to watercolour. I intend to give this a try.

Hi from the west coast of BC, Canada! I've just come across your video on the side bar of TH-cam after watching a different crafters video. I think your card is deluxe! Watercolouring is my favourite medium but I can't do it to save my soul, so to speak. This alternative is something even I may be able to do. Yay! Now, I just have to try it. I have yet to get to the point where if I goof up I can just say, "Oh well, it's only paper...". I am going to subscribe to your channel as you look like a very talented crafter. Beautiful card and I really enjoyed your coloring technique. Great idea to buy the reinker if you can't get that stamp at the moment. I do like the oxide distress inks.

Lovely card! I don't have any of the Oxide inks as yet, but the more I see them, the more I like them. I try and pick out colors I think I need, but end up wanting them all!

Thanks so much Renee - this is probably my most used stamp set!! it is beautiful and it has the versatility of the layering stamps plus the outline - I would have loved some other sentiments in it but it is packed with images!!

I purchased another altenew set as originally this wasn't available, but this set just kept calling me!! 😁😁 had to have it & it's my favorite now x the leaves are so perfect as well as the flower petals are a good size for colouring etc!

I am currently trying to rebuild my craft supplies after I lost everything in a house fire last year and on a very limited income as I was diagnosed with cancer a month after the fire so it's been a slow process I try to get a couple items each month. But I love this stamp set and what you did with it just absolutely beautiful!!

This is so, pretty...i like the distressed look of the flower and the colour you used for the leaves rather than the standard green.
ChrisAndCats thank you! x the oxide inks give quite a different look don't they? Loving them, only have a couple of colours so far & now the new ones are out!!! Can't keep up haha!
Know how you feel, nor can I! I have a full set of full size distress inks and most of the reinkers (bar 4 i think), but I havent got any oxide yet. I thought when the new colours came out the other day, "hang on i havent got the others yet! "
