    Interesting fact, Jonah Hill and Jay Baruchel acting wasn't actually acting. Both admitted they don't really get along for w/e reason and these scenes were not too far off from reality with the tension. Jay commentated its not as bad as it use to be but they pretty much just tolerate each other but thats it.

    • @HackWilson14
      @HackWilson14 8 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Actually they were acting. They just decided to use material based off real stuff, to have art initiate life. Yeah they don’t
      didn’t get along well in real life and so they decided to make approach their characters that way. But what happens in the movie isn’t real, they’re acting.

      @@HackWilson14 Obviously is not ad lib but point was making they don't like each other and that is how they feel about each other. On podcast Last Laugh
      Jay confirmed that This Is The End had utilized “personal shit” for the sake of the storyline, “Jonah and I don’t get along super well, or at least we didn’t back then,” he said.The host replied: “Which comes through on screen,” and Jay curtly retorted: “No fucking shit it does, no fucking shit.”“It was like this weird thing of mining personal shit, but not for catharsis. Mining it just for comedy,” Jay went on. “In the most commoditized, capitalist way of, like, we’re going to dig up real personal shit, but nobody’s going to go home feeling better about it. We’re just going to turn it into a fucking product.”

    I've been looking forward to this one all week.
    This is a funny, yet disturbing movie. I love how the actors in this movie are pretty much just playing themselves.
    The Emma Watson, the Channing Tatum, and(even though I'm always going to be a NSYNC fangirl) the Backstreet Boysare my favorite cameos in this movie. And I love the "Exorcism of Jonah Hill" scene.
    Looking forward to your next reaction. 😊

    Great reaction Nia like always this movie is absolutely INSANE, and highly comical view of the apocalypse from the incredibly creative, twisted mind of Seth Rogen. Rogen, Goldberg, and Stone did an excellent job writing this hilarious movie, and one of the most brilliant moves was the casting, and having the actors be casted as themselves. There are some fun facts about this movie, in what is one of the best cameos of the movie, Michael Cera features as himself, but with characteristics completely unlike himself, as he’s parading around doing drugs and generally acting like a jerk. In one scene, he pretends to slap Rihanna’s butt, but, while shooting, it didn’t look right, so Cera reportedly asked Rihanna if he could slap her butt for real. The singer approved just as long as she could slap him across the face for real, too. Michael Cera’s only demand his character is arguably one of the most despicable, as he has no social skills and invades everybody’s personal space, it might have been surprising that the actor, known for his innocent and nervous characters. But, in an interview, the actor said that he didn’t have an issue with any of the things he was asked to do and that he only had one very strange demand, that he could wear that bright yellow windbreaker. One of the most interesting facts is that Emma Watson’s role in the movie, which is significantly more than just a cameo, her character was originally meant for Mila Kunis, as not one, but three of her co-stars from Forgetting Sarah Marshall feature in the movie, it would have been fun to see Kunis reunite with them, but it wasn’t possible due to scheduling conflicts. In an interview, Evan Goldberg mentioned that the movie is 85% improvised, and it shows, as, with all the talent in the one room, they are all bouncing off each other and trying to one-up each others’ jokes. Close to the end of the movie, Channing Tatum appears as Danny McBride’s sex slave as he jumps out of a truck on all fours attached to a leash, and it’s one of the best celebrity cameos of all time. When he was approached to play the role, it was a simple as an email from Seth Rogen going into great, vulgar detail about what the role entails. Rogen got a response from Tatum three hours later accepting the role. Keep up the amazing work.

      Wooow, actually Mila Kunis would have made sense for sure but I’m glad they got Emma, another unexpected twist in the movie. Welp, the slap must have been worth it 😂 😂 the bright yellow windbreaker is so random lol but he was definitely now the character I thought he’d be playing in this, everyone treating him like crap was also hilarious

    The whole thing with Jonah being a douche was bc at the time an article came out where he was interviewed by a big magazine but the interviewer painted him as a douche but in reality the interviewer was just asking about his weight so you could tell Jonah was just annoyed the whole time. So for a while back then people just thought Jonah was a douche in real life.

    Jonah was probably speaking Sumerian at first. Its one of if not the first language ever and its extinct, so people dont actually use it anymore. But people drop it in alien stuff a lot because of how it sounds. Its very straight forward, punctuated, and angry sounding. So it works perfectly for the situation, because very little people speak Sumerian(outside of scholars). So it kind of just scares you because its unknown. It works really well!!

    • @danielpeckham5520

      They drop sumerian language in alien stuff because it's what the alien gods the Annunaki used to speak.
