@@sauusa6294 at least try the new one first to check side by side whether the new one has improved in terms of sound quality. If it's the same then ask yourself whether streaming is a must or you might already have a sizeable collection of music. Choose the new one for the former or go for zx300 for the latter (if price is not a decisive factor).

antwango It’s a Universal Serial Bus charging port that uses a standard that is common, instead of their proprietary port for the last few decades or so.

XPERIA smartphone, flagship models are far the best.
Must pay full price because barely any cellular promotes products. Bad marketing on SONYs end (mainly because of not adjusting products to meet WANTS of cellular carriers, remove/add features, change design...)

@ilovepancakeswithjam the S8 has a snapdragon 835 which is a 2 year old chip. It shouldn't be compared to the 12Gb and snapdragon 855 that you can find on the One plus7pro

@3165dwayne tbh the LG UX already has some of the features offered by Android Pie or 10, even on Oreo. Infact the stock version of Android 10 is still missing a lot of features when you compare it with the ROMs like MIUI or LG UX, So according to me these Custom ROMs are always 2-3 versions ahead of stock Android.
P.S You can always upgrade the software whenever you want but not the Hardware and that's why you're not going to get a Headphone jack via OTA update in some of the most expensive Flagships even after paying "Flagship Prices".

It's impossible, there is absolutely no space inside an Smartphone to make this happen. The ZX500 already is a compromise because it is too small

Since the load is 4 ohm typically your capacitance must be higher in order to compensate according to cut frequency: f = 1/(2πRC) [Hz]

i have LG v30+ phone i got for 300 dollars, what a beast, it has quad dac, amazing sound.

As a first-ever phone owner of the W800i I got very nostalgic when I saw the W logo. It would be amazing to have a Sony Walkman smartphone.

For the 40th they should of released a walkman with a cassette player.
What would be the point of that? Not like you can just go buy cassettes at Tower Records these days dude. C'mon now.
It should look like the cassette player but slimmed down, and come with a complementary pair of retro but renovated headphones. Like the new versions of old gaming consoles. It should come preloaded with thousands of songs from classic Sony label artists, like Elvis, Michael Jackson, Prince, and Frank Sinatra. And you should be able to add more to it using any PC. The screen is where the window to the cassette was, and when you select an album or playlist, the player imitates the sound of a cassette being inserted as the screen lowers in brightness and shows a cassette tape rolling.
This all sounds awesome to me, but if Sony released this thing, the average consumer would never see it due to pricing.

@@kingpin22s Amazon sells cassettes and some of us born in the 80s still have a few cassettes. They can make one limited edition only.
They finally ditched their proprietary port and went for Type-C!

Completely agree with you, the battery is less stressed on ZX300 I think without Android and streaming services,beside..I have my cell phone to stream music from.. Very happy with my 300and not planning on changing already...
Consider this. Your travelling and you do not want to use your phone's output. Streaming service + music in your Walkman is a big convenience in all of this. Sony made the right move this time.
