Hope the box deal happens along with GMTK and Wright goodies. In addition to the Ko-Ken Zeal line, you guys need to carry their nut grip sockets. Great stuff! thanks for sharing.

Koken's first export sales in the Asia Pacific area was to New Zealand in the 1950/60s. They then appeared in Australia and their larger tools are frequently used in the Australian mining industry where they cop a brutal days work, they are a very well respected product that is marketed at an affordable price.
Wright Tool have appeared in Australia - usually imported via E Bay and Amazon but unfortunately they do not have a distributor in Australia. They did have an exhibition at a mining show in Australia and we were hopeful they would be marketed in Australia - no such luck. They appear to be strong well made tools.
Knipex - I commenced my apprenticeship in 1974 and purchased a pair of long nose pliers which are still hard at work today - a very good product with very good marketing.
Wika - A brand of tools frequently used by electricians and electronic technicians.

You might want to check out tool crown tool boxes if you ever got the chance they are made in Canada and are excellent quality.

I have the Koken pinless u joints and double joint universals
Koken is not American. I was born in Japan (US Army base). They have been a solid ally since mid 40s. Might not be USA but it is the next best thing. Glad to see you guys pick up Koken

Hey Mom!! Love it! Have considered buying some Koken tools, lots of great reviews on them.

Nothing wrong with bolstering the lineup with Japanese and German tools to keep your customers in arms reach of quality stuff. And I just looked at your prices for Ko-Ken and all I gotta say is I know where I'm buying from when I get around to it, those are a really good deal!
You guys mentioned you're always looking for more US companies to add to the lineup. One you don't really hear about it Martin, it doesn't help that their name is Martin Sprocket and Gear but for whatever reason they also offer a line of MIUSA hand tools in addition to their namesake stuff. Can't speak to the quality or any of that, I just know they exist, might be something to look into.

Green River Works was Russell. I have three Russell knives made before they were bought by Dexter. Very nice knives.

Is Williams an option? (the US-made SKUs specifically/only)
The ratchets are low tooth count but very durable. Sockets are excellent, thin wall, more durable chrome/finishing than SK and Wright.

I find it fascinating (not wrong, but fascinating) that we buy from the countries we were in war with less than 100 years ago and regard their products as good (because they are). I also think it's interesting that the world around us is metric, but the world standard for sockets is fractional inch square drive sizes. I have a Lisle 30750 impact driver (also in a set 30200) with a 1/2" square drive so you can put a socket on it. It comes with a 1/2" square to 3/8" hex adapter for the included bits. I see they have a similar 3/8" square drive version also (29200). You guys should carry Lisle stuff. I know it's more automotive specialty, but there's some carry over. They don't put their name on much stuff so it's hard to have a tool following, but they are sometimes made in USA. My uncle designs tools for them in Clarinda, Iowa. Also, we need more submarine stories.

Snap-on offers extensions that work exactly like that. I’ve used them and they can be annoying because if you push down on the ratchet, the socket pops off the wobble and onto the fixed drive

i have missed you guys!!! I have become the #1 HJE Fanboy!!! Your selection of quality made in USA tools is unsurpassed. The artists you have in the shipping department who draw on the boxes & packages make your company unique in customer service commitment. The pokemon drawings they did for my son on our last tool order literally made his entire week special. The entire HJE company family is a throwback to what Made America Great. And now you are Making America Great Again!! Hopefully you will read this comment & it will not be deleted or shadow banned due to it's Patriotic content.......

Employees must organize their own union. Employers must stay out of it (although they often don’t).
