You didn't go hard on them at all don't worry. They knew there was something behind them and chose to ignore it so sadly its their fault. I just think that they lack any kind of fear of dying, it feels like they just rush everything and have no structure, like pushing a whole complex with just two people while the rest of the team has pushed so far into the city that they might get cornered. I think what they can improve is structure between them to act as a group a bit slower. i don't know how zeus works in Reforger but i think u can give them more information about ennemy reinforcement like the counter attack by example, i don't know your objectives as a group aswell but if you aim for even a little bit of realism i also suggest that u make it more punishing for them to die ( like making them respawn far away or something else), and maybe take control of the AI to actuallly try and kill them when they are alone somewhere or just rush like mad mans. Im talking too much sorry and remember that all i said is a suggestion so you guys have fun 😀
2:59 It is just always me in these segments XD However, 7:30 has got to count as redemption right? (Firing an MG at the Driver and Gunner positions of the BTR)
You werent too hard dude, they did no recon, had no security, and set up in bad spots with no overwatch and didnt seem to have any concept of fire and maneuver. Kind of wish the game had some sort of GM vs GM mode where two GMs play like an RTS but each player commands a squad or platoon of AI
I still felt a bit bad for them, it was our 3rd ever time doing Reforger and they didn't quite have the numbers to take on an objective of that size But yeah they could definitely have done better, that's for sure
@@podrekreinhard For a "proper" op I may have done that, this was much more of a test one (my literal first time doing it for Reforger instead of A3), so I was mostly just messing around with the different systems/how the AI functioned/etc
Honestly I don’t think you were too hard at the beginning. They knew there was a settlement to their west and they didn’t have someone look at it.

I think the harder the game master is the more is it fun. But i mean it should be hard but not impossible.
