@@KRodCollective Im heading over to Boston! the flight is abt 5 hrs so its not as long as other flights but i wont be having bfast before heading to the airport lol, ty for asking
Thanks for this. I’m going to another country with my school next summer and I have a wheat allergy. So pretty much all I can eat in the airport is an overpriced salad with no dressing or crotons, or some candy which would not be a great choice. I can’t have any food on the 12 hour flight either so my only option would to be to bring stuff from home but I did not know what was TSA approved. Now all I have to do is get over my fear of flying 🥲
Hi!! Yes! Since it's a 12 hr flight, I think the biggest struggle you may have is bringing enough to keep you full while also being okay for several hours without refrigeration. So you may have to bring a few small, yet hearty snacks! Good luck! I know you will put together some great things for yourself. Re: Fear of flying. Aww!! One step at a time. You got this! Have a wonderful trip! I hope it's life-changing! 💕
I love your vids! this one was super helpful! Another good idea is a fruit & cheese kabob or veggie & fruit kabob using toothpicks, I pack it in my daughter's lunch & she loves it!
I’m going in a flight that is 18 hours long in 20 days! This really helped me cause I can’t go that long with only 3 meals lol 😂 btw you should try sandwiches on the plane?! ❤️
OMG in 2019 I had a sliced apple in a clear stasher bag and the TSA guy at Shannon Airport went nuts on me , took it off me and didnt even give me back the very expensive Stasher bag. I had looked to see what was allowed.and told him so several times adamantly. He was totally in the wrong but just wanted to hound me as a single woman flying alone .. I nearly missed the plane.
WHAT?! That's crazy! I can't believe that happened. I almost always pack my snacks in Stasher Bags and have never had them confiscated. I'm so sorry that happened. And the fact that he didn't even give it back!! 😡
Hi there! I'm so sorry for the late response. I'm pretty sure you can bring all of these into Europe. If they are packaged and unopened, there shouldn't be an issue. Dbl check with the country's customs though. Where things get iffy are fresh fruits, meats, and dairy. These are usually not allowed unless vacuum packed and declared. But somoene else can help me out in the comments as I'm not 100% percent positive more like 85. 😂💕
I absolutely loved the ending. Thank you for the added realness, it was much appreciated. This was a great video. Hubby and I are driving internationally and we want to prep foods that will do all the things you mentioned - keep us hydrated and energized. I personally love noshing on baby carrots. I always pack those on driving trips. Not sure if they'll stay as fresh on the plane ride though.
I like your vibe, your joy is wonderful. What packing a small amount of THC gummies in with trail mix. Would that get me flagged by TSA and thrown into jail?
Thank you for your kind words and for watching! Hmm I think if you have THC it has to be less than 0.3% or it will get taken. But I’m not positive. I’ve seen with my own eyes ppl get through with some but I do think it’s risky. Hope that helps! 💕Safe travels!
@@KRodCollective Like I said, I chopped up about 60 mg worth gummies and then mixed it all in another zip lock bag of other trail mix blend of nuts, chocolate and other regular gummies, Then I packed that trail mix into another plastic container with other snacks and that container along with another container of snacks sailed right through the on board scanner like nobody's business. I took a risk but the amount was small and they were scanned through with snacks that show as the same color as other organic items. So there was no red flags being alerted at all. It all happened very quickly.
Do you think I can bring a peanut butter sandwich through security? Do I have to separate the peanut butter and bread because peanut butter is a liquid? I’ll use less than 3.4 ounces. Thanks!
That's such a good question Caroline! I believe you can as long as it's in that large plastic bag and has less than 3.4 ounces of peanut butter. If it's flagged, they may ask you to take it out your bag so they can inspect it, but should be okay. 💕
This is a good question. I like to go to the local grocery store and see what snacks they have and pack some of those. This is also why I like the reusable storage bags and containers because I can wash them at the hotel and repack new snacks. I hope this helps! 💕
Yes international travel, you have to be aware of their rules with fruit and meats. If you are sure you will consume the items before your arrival then you should be fine.
For early morning flights I will make ahead egg bites - they're good cold and I can add all kinds of things like ham, carmelized onion, peppers, mushroom, spinach. They're filling and better than anything you can buy at airport on on the plane. I am cheap but also a coffee snob, don't like to pay for Starbucks or suffer airplane coffee - so I bring a good instant coffee, my SF powdered creamer and just get hot water for a small tip at a coffee stand in my insulated mug.
Love these!!! Such good ideas! I like to bring homemade egg bites too and boiled eggs. They're so easy. I also love to bring Vietnamese instant coffee. I buy them specifically for travel. They have a bit of sugar which I don't normally do in my coffee, but I look at them as a little travel treat. hahaha 😬
How does this work with liquids? Is food liquids not part of the 311? Ive seen videos where they say not use mayo or things like that bc of its consistency of a liquid? How true is that? Do they take everything out of the large bag? Im going on a 15 hour trip to Israel. I love my snacks! Lol
Hi!!! Thank you for watching. Yes, liquids are part of the 311 rule so they cannot be over 3.4 ounces. So if they are below, then it’s totally fine. If they are above, they need to be checked or they will be confiscated. I don’t think they take any food out of the large bag unless they need to examine it for some reason. If it’s in there, you should be good. Good luck on your trip! 💕
In October I flew to Pennsylvania and had a yogurt cup in my back and thought they were going to take it but they didn't, just get a storage cup that's the appropriate size or a squeeze tube and put your mayo in there(:
Can I bring a noodle cup and ask the plane assistant to give hot water to make it. I'll put a little bit of water. But is it allowed to take a noodle cup ?
I don’t know if it’s true, but I hear in other channels not to trust the hot water. Prior to that I’ve always had coffee on the plane! Maybe you can bring an empty thermos and ask for hot water at a cafe before you board the plane but after security!
Hi there! I think food would go in a separate bag. But this rule may not apply anymore. I know they were doing this during the height of the pandemic and shortly after but I can’t seem to find any solid answers from TSA whether the separate plastic bag for the food still applies for not. Sorry, I hope this helps. 💕
FYI - Peanut butter on it's own is considered a liquid. Peanut butter on a sandwich is NOT a liquid.... I love apples and peanut butter but have to remember to put in the liquids bag...
In a clear plastic bag....beef jerky, freeze dried nuts, candied fruits, mini bottle of Redmond salt (a little under the tongue does wonders for alertness also impedes hunger pangs) and, oh yeah, breath mints (the passenger next to you will be grateful, lol!) rocket
Hi I’m planning to travel soon with a 3 yr old daughter she eats a lot so I’m planning to bring a snacks for her so I will put it inside the clear bag and put inside my bag pack but in the security do I need to get it out from May bag to put in a bin ?I think we have long over in the Los Angeles . SeaTac-lax-other country
Hi Prayzelle! Your daughter is so precious! Yes, I believe that now once you get to the security line, you have to take the plastic bag with all the snacks out and put them in the bin. Unless you are in the TSA Precheck line, then it doesn't matter. I believe they started this in 2020 and it is still current. I hope this helps! Have a great trip! 💕
Personally, I think as long as they follow the 3-1-1 rule, you should be fine. I’m still looking into this to see if they have updated that plastic bag rule because that was during the height of everything in 2020. 💕

Please never take peanuts either. There maybe other passengers that is deathly allergic and even the smell of peanuts is bad. Air-lines will not serve peanuts if they know there is person on board that is allergic. SO to be safe, please do not take peanuts on board.

@@KRodCollective thank you! ❤️❤️❤️
Great video girlie! Also, you’re very pretty!
Aww thank you Jo! That’s so kind of you. 💕Thanks for watching!
I love your vids! this one was super helpful! Another good idea is a fruit & cheese kabob or veggie & fruit kabob using toothpicks, I pack it in my daughter's lunch & she loves it!
Thank you! 🧡❤️Ooohh what a good idea! Thanks for sharing! Sounds so great for the little ones. 🤗
omg you seem so pleasant and delightful!
Awww you’re so sweet! Thank you! 🥰💕
Hi
Great video
🇬🇧
Hi!! Thank you for watching! 💕
Are dollar tree snacks allowed on ✈️ 8:57
Absolutely!! 💕
This video it's amazing. You're like a super mom always ready for anything💖
hahahaha Thank you Fifi! I always have snacks ready! haha 💕
What Bible do you have in the background 9:53
She Reads Truth! 🥰💕
Great advice
Thank you for watching!! 💕
I plan to buy a pasta salad for my upcoming flight.
Love this!
I’m going in a flight that is 18 hours long in 20 days! This really helped me cause I can’t go that long with only 3 meals lol 😂 btw you should try sandwiches on the plane?! ❤️
😂😂Yes! That’s a long flight, I too would need multiple meals. I love sandwiches on the plane, they’re so easy and delicious! 💕
@@KRodCollective I’m going in 10 days! Btw thanks for the comment
@@soumayab101 How was it?!?! 💕
@@KRodCollective it got cancelled 😞
😐
This was so helpful thank you! I had no idea about the plastic bag.
Thank you for watching Stephanie! I need to double check that this is still the rule. But last I checked it was. 💕
Snack ideas at 7:45
Thank you Andrea! I should go in and add chapters. 💕
Your so fun to watch! Keep it up!
Aww thank you! 💕
Haha... I Loved it! Great tips!!
Hahaha thanks, Lillie!
Peanut butter and humus have to go in your liquids bag, unless you premade the PB and J sandwich.
Yes! Unless you have TSA Precheck. 💕
And you are soooooooooo pretty! ❤
That’s so sweet of you. Thank you! 🥰💕
Great video, just wondering what kind of food in general is allowed to bring to Europe. Are nuts, dry fruits and chocolate among them.
Thank you Paula! 🥰Baby carrots are such a great option! 💕
Great vid. Music is a bit overpowering, but otherwise, your content is super professional and fun to watch. I am a big fan.
Thank you for watching! And thank you so much for your feedback, I'll keep that in mind, so helpful! 💕
Literally this is perfect ty 😁
Thank YOU for watching! Glad you enjoyed! 💕
Make your PB sandwich before hand so they won’t get flagged
Kettlecorn popcorn
And
Olives mmmm
Yummmmy!! Those are some great snacks Traci! 💕
Thx, I love olives
Really enjoyed thank you!! You’ve made planing snacks so exciting and enticing!
That will “tide” me over until my plane flight! 😉😘
Thank you Cadwyn! I’m so glad
You enjoyed it! Happy snack planning! 😂💕
Haha love your energy beautiful 🙏🤗💙😍✌🏽😎🤘🏽
Aww thank you Adriana! 🥰And thank you for watching! 💕
I have a question. I see a lot of videos about snacks to take on an outbound, but they never talk about what you do for the flight home. Any ideas?
This is a good question. I like to go to the local grocery store and see what snacks they have and pack some of those. This is also why I like the reusable storage bags and containers because I can wash them at the hotel and repack new snacks. I hope this helps! 💕
Thanks for the help!!
Thank you for watching! I'm glad it was helpful! 💕
If you spread butter on the bread before stuffing it, the butter will work as a barrier, and no moisture will seep into the bread.
Love this trick! Thank you for sharing! 💕
Are there different rules for international flights please? Great Video!
Yes! Lots of things will vary whether it’s domestic or international. Every country has their own customs and rules.
@@didigogo139 Thanks, Daisy!
Can I bring a noodle cup and ask the plane assistant to give hot water to make it. I'll put a little bit of water. But is it allowed to take a noodle cup ?
Hi Bushra! My apologies for the late response. As far as I know, yes! You can bring a noodle cup. Such a good choice! 💕
I bring my own tea bags and ask for hot water when I’m on a plane.
I don’t know if it’s true, but I hear in other channels not to trust the hot water. Prior to that I’ve always had coffee on the plane! Maybe you can bring an empty thermos and ask for hot water at a cafe before you board the plane but after security!
Wow great video.
Thank you, Danuellia!! 💕😊
thought we could only have 1 quart bag for toiletries/liquids so would food go in the same bag?
Hi there! I think food would go in a separate bag. But this rule may not apply anymore. I know they were doing this during the height of the pandemic and shortly after but I can’t seem to find any solid answers from TSA whether the separate plastic bag for the food still applies for not. Sorry, I hope this helps. 💕
Yes I got the info I needed
I'm so happy to hear that! Thank you for watching! 💕
FYI - Peanut butter on it's own is considered a liquid. Peanut butter on a sandwich is NOT a liquid.... I love apples and peanut butter but have to remember to put in the liquids bag...
Yes!! Thank you for this! 💕
Thank you❤️👍
Thank YOU for watching! 💕🥰
In a clear plastic bag....beef jerky, freeze dried nuts, candied fruits, mini bottle of Redmond salt (a little under the tongue does wonders for alertness also impedes hunger pangs) and, oh yeah, breath mints (the passenger next to you will be grateful, lol!)
rocket
Love this! Thank you for sharing! 💕
I’m taking a trail mix nut butter and keto bars to Tx trip
Yes!! Sounds yummy! So good! 💕
Be careful of the spreadable TSA food items which might count as liquids. You have to count cream cheese, hummus and creamer for example.
Thank you! Yes, absolutely! 3-1-1 rule is key!
Helpful tips!
Thank you Rasta! Happy and safe travel to you! 💕
Wait.. So only one plastic bag? Or plenty as long as they are following the 1-1-3 rule??
Personally, I think as long as they follow the 3-1-1 rule, you should be fine. I’m still looking into this to see if they have updated that plastic bag rule because that was during the height of everything in 2020. 💕
1:45 good to know, 1 large clear plastic bag
6:42 no liquid over 3 oz.
Hope it was helpful! The large plastic bag for the food may be lifted now but I can’t seem to find a straight answer from TSA. Safe travels! 💕
I thought the nut butter was considered a liquid to go in the liquids bag?
I’ve had my nut butter confiscated for being a liquid above the 4oz limit.
Yes, it is! It should go into the large plastic bag that you put all your food in. 💕
Should it not go in liquids bsg. Also perhaps peanut butter is not a good vhoice
Lol ur so cute tho ! I do the same thing
hahaha 🥰Glad I'm not alone! 💕
You have to be careful with fruit. Some countries will confiscate them (border security in Australia for example).
Yes!! Thank you for this! 💕
My cat loves plastic too!
hahaha yes! It's always interesting to me. Thanks for watching, Susan! 💕
I’m resigned to my city never having a Trader Joe’s 🥺😢😢😢✌🏼
Awww I'm so sorry! Well, we probably overhype it anyway! haha Do you have a Kroger or Wegmans or Publix? I love them too!
@@KRodCollective no such luck:( We have a Sam’s Club and Natural Grocers, I love TJ’s!! And Aldi! Love your videos! We have an appointment for TSA Pre-check tomorrow! 👏🙌🏼🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏 thank you!!
@@nyleah411 Sam's Club is great! I love Aldi too! And Lidl! YAY! Let me know how your TSA pre-check appointment goes! Woo hoo! Thanks for watching, Sarah!
@@KRodCollective We went to our appointment and got some new interesting information! My husband works in the refinery industry and got his TWIC card renewed. It’s a background check for employees. We were told that since he got his card renewed recently with the expiration being 2025/2026 he can use his TWIC card number located at the bottom of the card for TSA Pre-Check. It’s a new thing that was started two years ago. So if you have a TWIC card you don’t have to pay for pre-check! We called Southwest and added the number to our confirmation, we haven’t traveled yet but if it works out I’ll let you know!

0.946mls (basically a litre)
most of the time, plane food does taste good but because we are so high up, our taste buds and other buds change making them "bad".
Facts!
trail mix
Love trail mix! So easy! 💕
I thought she was going to say drugs 6:33
😂😂😂no drugs here.
No one has ever asked me to take out my snacks
Yeah, they don’t normally ask me but I’ve had a few times where they have looked through my snacks. 😂
Be careful about nuts and nut butters, you may be sitting next to a person with extreme nut allergies.
Absolutely! Thank you! 💕
Please never take peanuts either. There maybe other passengers that is deathly allergic and even the smell of peanuts is bad. Air-lines will not serve peanuts if they know there is person on board that is allergic. SO to be safe, please do not take peanuts on board.
Absolutely! Good reminder. Thank you, Virginia! 💕
Totally was thinking the same. Honestly I'm highly allergic to Peanuts the rest of the nuts family. Just being around or the smell gets me an anaphylactic shock. It's scary this is why I'm afraid to ride a plane.. I tell my husband I prefer to drive. But I'm glad you take precautions.
Please don’t bring bananas! They stink to high heaven. I’m super sensitive to the chemicals and pesticides on bananas. It’s smells really bleachy to me and gives me a horrible headache and nausea.
Oh no!!
can't stand that back ground hip-hop beat my drum noise crap. bye
