Im surprised that marvel has never written some sort of another universe where apocalypse challenges thanos for control of the infinity gauntlet because honestly i think that would be an epic fight. After that it would be interesting to see how apocalypses beliefs are spread across the universe and what becomes of other races as a result. It wouls also be awesome to see apocalypse vs the celestials in that universe.

well i would also have to disagree but honestly i don't have too much emotional attachment to the battle both are great villains :) but didn't black bolt completely destroy apocalypse in black panther vol 4 while thanos takes everything he has and proceeds to crush him? i know different writers different varying levels of power, but feats wise just makes me think thanos all around is the more powerful of the two.

I have to say I have always thought that Apocalypse could defeat Thanos in a fight to the end. They are kind of like opposites in the Marvel Universe. Thanos is death and Apocalypse is life. Where Thanos wants everything dead to prove some point to a chick he likes (Mistress Death), Apocalypse want everyone to grow stronger and survive.... except the weak. Given as we learn in Infinity Gauntlet that Thanos knows that he is weak and does not deserve power, Apocalypse would revel in it.Thoughts?

HUH oddly enough a co-worker gave me his old comic collection, most of it was junk BUT X-Factor #5 was in it. In solid shape to boot my comic book store says it would probably grade out at a 8.5ish range. Though I felt I had to do the honest thing and let him know what he had. Going to get it graded and offer him a fair value for it.
Apocalypse is one of those characters that would make so many fans go crazy over. His background story and his purpose and plot in his life is amazing. His character is from another ethnicity, a perfect villain! but they had to mess him up, like the mandarin, these are high class villains why would you do this😔🙄

In response to Q.2 Magneto wants the mutants to rule over the humans as the superior race. By contrast, Apocalypse doesn't care whether the humans rule over the mutants or the mutants rule over the humans so long as both sides are given an even chance to defeat the other and the victor gets to rule over the defeated.
Going to be a damn shame when the animated series roughly about 16 years ago did a better job of explaining this than the damn movie oh and rob did a damn good job two:D
