I completely agree. Apocolypse is by far the most powerful character in the X-Men universe. Although Apocalypse is a "mutant," he was the first "mutant," and then combined his "mutant" abilities with Celestial technology - which put him in an absolute league of his own. Apocalypse then became more powerful than the Celestials. A Celestisial is a Celestial, but Apocalypse is a Celestial plus all of his "mutant" abilities. Apocalypse has the ability to permanently acquire the mutant powers of any other mutant or combination of mutants, too. The X-Men program in the 90s had his voice PERFECT along with his personality. I wish the movie X-Men Apocalypse would have been handled the way the Avengers handled Infinity and Endgame. Instead, the Celestial technology of Apocalypse was completely ignored, and they made it seem like Apocalypse having the ability to increase his size was something that only happened in the mind of Charles Xavier. I also wish the X-Men Apocalypse movie would have made it so Apocalypse was handled with CGI in the same way Collosus is in Deadpool. Stop and think how awesome it would have been if Apocalypse had been done with CGI and had the amazing voice he had in the 90s X-Men series. There could have been a scene where Apocalypse was HUGE like Ant-Man, too! I thought X-Men Apocalypse was a good movie, but I just felt it could have been "better."

Saw the movie last night. Did not disappoint at ALL. I had my expectations really low since I didn't like the trailers so much, but oh my god, did the movie delivered. I hope Arris post a review when he sees it!

Apocalypse, Mr. Sinister, Dr. Doom and Sebastian Shaw are characters which are very much neglected by MCU. Phase 5 must include movies revolving these majestic villians/anti heroes.
When I watched the 90s cartoons as a character he blew me away, the powers, voice, lines... worth a check if you haven't watched yet. Almost all of the MCU films imho have failed in comparison to what I was lucky to watch as a kid 🫠

The movie sucks. Only cool part is QS saving the children after Havok accidently shot the school down trying to save Xavier and died with his own blast. Apocalypse other hidden motive (not ruling the world) but trying to xfer body to Xavier. Jean awakened the Phoenix to subdue Apocalypse and Magneto and Storm turn against him and killed him along with Cyclop. Cringe when Mystique was the leader of the X-men.

apocalips chooses -> they fight -> the 4 chosen get beaten by a bunch of kids in 1v1 battles
not having horses is probably the last thing that disapointed me in the movie :D

Seeing how rich Apocalypse's story and background are, it was mind-boggling how shallow the movie was...
When I watched the 90s cartoons as a character he blew me away, the powers, voice, lines... worth a check if you haven't watched yet.
Almost all of the MCU films imho have failed in comparison to what I was lucky to watch as a kid 🫠
I saw the movie it was good not the best but I enjoyed it very much I'd give it 7.5/10

He should be, but they have him as a white Hispanic in the movie..
and that's the point I was making, In the comics and back in the day when x-men was on fox kids, he was obviously represented as black, his origin drives that point home...but of course now that he's in a mainstream live action adaptation, they most certainty will rob us as much as they can to make sure they keep the political agendas intact, i.e making sure a non black represents Egyptian power, if they could fuck over black panther they'd do the same thing.

The movie sucks. Only cool part is QS saving the children after Havok accidently shot the school down trying to save Xavier and died with his own blast. Apocalypse other hidden motive (not ruling the world) but trying to xfer body to Xavier. Jean awakened the Phoenix to subdue Apocalypse and Magneto and Storm turn against him and killed him along with Cyclop. Cringe when Mystique was the leader of the X-men.
