Love these videos. Sweden is beautiful and good for the soul. I was there earlier this month and it is stunning. One thing the videos don't (or can't?) show is just how clear the air is. No pollution and that helped my asthma so much. Also, the air smells of pine or cedar all the time.
I have COPD and am living in the north of Sweden (Jokkmokk) a small town just above the Arctic Circle. We have 3 winters the autumn-winter the winter-winter and the spring-winter. In the autumn-winter, you're freezing because one has to get used to the cold. The winter-winter can be a problem for people with breathing problems because it can become very cold and the air is very dry, personally, I use to get problems with my breath when it gets around below -20. The spring-winter is the best, for example, this morning at 8 o'clock -5 and sunny no wind and the son really starts to warm, I took a walk with my dog on a lake and moments like that I'm so grateful that I live here, nobody but us and nature.
@@allaboutperspective650 Ah yes, I think -20c would be bad for me. I was on the south west coast where it was 'only' -10c at night and about -5c during the day. But the lakes, the woods, the open spaces, the peace and quiet, the nature, is all just so beautiful and good for the soul. I can't wait to return, though next time it may be in the summer. I also think the wonderful public transport/trams helps the air quality. In the UK everyone seems to travel by car and the cities and towns are gridlocked a lot, causing lots of unnecessary pollution. I would certainly recommend people visit Sweden if they get the chance.

Spring in Sweden is when you have 7 consecutive days and night with a temperature above O deg C aka above freezing. Then spring started the first of those 7 days. In late March and April there is a lot of false springs with 3 days above freezing and then it snows and get's cold again. We call it April wheather, when temperatures change ALL the time, up and down. It's like spring and winter have a war with each other.
@@arctic_haze I think all the Nordic countries have a similar saying about April wheater. I live not far from Dani in Sweden, and last week we had 40cm snow, last night it was -27C and today it's +2C.
...and Summer in Sweden is when you have 7 consecutive days with a temperature above 10 degrees. Same rule applies, summer then started the first of those days.
I get back pain during the winter, I go to get acupuncture when it gets too prolonged and this resets the muscles, no more pain, superb video, what an amazing place you live in!
The Squirrel Forest and surrounding woods are lovely with the snow. It's interesting how there are seven false Springs before it finally arrives. We've had a colder than usual Spring in Seattle, WA USA although what snow we had has long melted. Our flowering cherries are late this year and won't attain their full bloom until April. Your new office looks splendid and I love the sage green curtains and mint-colored walls, the new IKEA cabinet with shelves, and little touches with squirrel decorations. As usual your cinematography and photography is awesome! Jenny 🐿🌨🦌🌲📽💜
Hope your back is better. Sitting is one of the harder things we do to our back so the standing desk will help. I’ve had 2 back surgeries because of poor posture and the desk job I had. We finally got the standing desks it they helped me. Also some core strengthening exercises helped too
What a great video, Dani, so much interesting and varied content in a very well produced package. Your videography and photography are outstanding - the photo of the deer under the lights at 12:52 especially so. Thank you.
Yes Dani up behind where I live is a nature reserve and one evening when I was out, taking a stroll came across part of a herd of Roe Deer but as they are so skittish, they quickly darted off into the undergrowth so our paths did not compete. But in darkness I hear them barking at one another as the nightly forage for food begins.
Hello Dani, thank you for this amazing new video about your wildlife photography, the squirrel forest and your life in Northern Sweden. What a nice new office, it looks so good, I'm sure you'll create a lot of wonderful new videos there 🐿❤️
For us Swedes this is the fifth season. Where you have cold nights(-20C)and warm days (0 to +10C). So be ready. Usually spring starts around at the end of April and summer is here in the beginning of June. If you blink you might miss spring. 😊
Your office setup is really cool. I've got a Flexispot motorized desk myself for my project workspace and I absolutely love it. Whether I work on repairing/servicing a watch, or work on a PC, or whatever else, it's essential that I can move the object of my work to the level that provides the best, most comfortable access for me. Awesome acquisition! You have a very tidy setup there, and you're in such a neat location surrounded by nature. By the way, your videos have a very calming influence which I greatly appreciate. Best wishes to you. 👍

And, a great addition to finally have your studio, just so. Stay well, in peace, U-meh-oar! Umea, with the o over the a. I lived in Norway and Sweden for around 3 years. The language is easy. The Roe deers (Rådjur) will get used to you after awhile. I have lived at the same place for about 25 years now and the Roe deers here are so used to me that I can work in the garden only 5-10 meters from them and they don´t care. It´s the third our fourth generation now I think. They are very nice animals and I have taken a lot of pictures of them trough the years. I even saw one being born once, that was amazing.
