I love it! I am starting my business this year after 7 years of working in banking as a marketing director and being sick of the corporate world. I worked in landscaping for 6 years before that. So I have experience in both marketing and landscaping. Thankfully I had a decent amount in savings, so I have rolled out a marketing campaign/built a website/got verified/wrapped my truck - I already have 7 weekly residentials and 1 commercial account months before the season has even started and have 4 more bids scheduled, all within 2 weeks of announcing the business. I got a trailer, a craftsman M320 push mower, a john deere Z330M zero turn, and an echo trimmer/blower. And a bunch of other misc. stuff. This has not been a cheap adventure!
This is a good video. Over half a decade in the game. It’s a great setup. After three years I throttled my business back to almost something exactly like this.
Try to do a low budget lawn care setup under 500 there are some people doing this that don't even have that much cash I think you would appeal to the other half that can't afford what you got
@@briandewolfe22 I made a 5x8 trailer with 4' tall sides, but I also put plywood on the gate, probably a horrible idea for aerodynamics and fuel efficiency, but I used small chains on the back to keep the gate from falling if going over very bumpy terrain. Anyways, love that strap idea and with leaves the mesh gate will keep them in. Thinking in a few years my boy needs a trailer to start a small lawn mowing business in his teens.
New Subscriber Here! Awesome setup for the solo operator or even with a helper. Love the cargo buckles for the trailer gate. My pin latches are so worn. Looking forward to watching your other videos.
Regarding the 94r. I had same problems since day one. Took me a while to figure out it only likes 2 prime pumps. No more no less. Also give it a little throttle right as it fires up. Exhaust filter needs to be cleaned every so often or just remove it. After figuring out the sweet spot of starting procedures i get it to fire right up every time. The thing is actually quite a great little trimmer (for me).
Nice setup! I'm curious what type of revenue this could produce in a season? Typically I see much more elaborate setups but not sure it is worth the extra cost.
I did everything via credit besides the trailer. Got the trailer 8.5x14 for 5k. Got the competition for racks at equipment defender. Got the 2 mowers all handheld equipment for 15k. Can't complain got into the game for 400$ a month
Agree my regret going with a 6x10 instead of my 5x10 I need that extra room got mine from Northern Tool 5 years ago around $1000. FB market is definitely the place to go!!!!!!
I mean you could start with a push mower or walk behind, weed eater and blower for $2k or less equipment wise. If you have a suv you’ll need a small trailer, if you already have a pick up truck you’re good to go. But if you want a real set up you’re gonna be lookin at about $20k for sure. And you haven’t even marketed yet. Takes money to make money 🙏
Sweet setup! That trailer looks really clean, love the black with green color scheme! Do you have any videos using the catcher & tarp? Just subscribed, looking forward to watching more of your videos! 🌱
Great tips your setup makes a lot of sense. If you like that ego trimmer you may want to try the rear motor version. Not the power head but the dedicated rear motor trimmer, it’s awesome but it might spin the opposite way of what your used to.
He didn’t start that though been doin the tarp thing for years and years it’s not something new and if we’re gunna give credit to anyone about that it should be @countryside he’s the first person to put a video on you tube how to make them
Tbh I only bought it bc I already owned lots of Milwaukee tools and I figured it would be nice to have more Milwaukee batteries. It’s not that great of a mower.
@@briandewolfe22 I asked but I hadn’t finished seeing your video . Even with my readers I thought I saw fence pickets but after ya showed the plywood it was the left front corner that from a distance looked like em . Cool way to be a solo operator.
So when you trim shrubs and lawn clean-ups where's the pile of junk going? Take it away or leave it inna pile somewhere? You have no room on the truck or trailer. Or maybe you just cut grass only?
Solo setup my butt. Lol. A solo setup is a push mower weed eater and blower. Most people watching this is trying to start into this business. You probably just scared everyone off. lol.

I love it, it’s efficient and gets it done, I’m making a few upgrades and changes next year… going to be exciting
Nice setup! I like the tarp attached to the accelerator bagger that’s pretty awesome. I’m sure that helps out a lot in the fall.
Thanks man! It’s a life saver!

I must agree, I started doing some of those things you mentioned and it’s been working much better for me now.
Love your set up
Thank you

Thank you I appreciate that!

Always sucks buying something then finding out you need something else.
Nice!!
Who has 20,000$ to start a business like come on bro it’s very impressive though 5 out 5 stars

can you make a video on the tarp and catcher combo. thats awsome. great video
I have one on my page already just made it a month ago… go check it out
19:09 you got some of the gnarliest POISON IVY on your fence; you just walked right in through it
I'm not sure if that's poison ivy. I believe it's something else.
Sweet setup! That trailer looks really clean, love the black with green color scheme! Do you have any videos using the catcher & tarp? Just subscribed, looking forward to watching more of your videos! 🌱
Yes I have a video going up soon showing the tarp I’m action, also I installed some walls on my truck and you will see that too, pretty cool

Thank you! I don’t use the ego anymore it’s just my backup in case my gas trimmer breaks
Nice setup! I wish I started with a 6x10. I started with a 5. Really narrow
I’m wishing I had went bigger now lol
The FS94 is not trash. The anti spark filter needs to be cleaned in the back.
Correct, I didn’t know that but I recently cleared that up in a video. Thank you.
Got that bagger idea from “GROW IT WE MOW IT”
Sure did! Love that guy
He didn’t start that though been doin the tarp thing for years and years it’s not something new and if we’re gunna give credit to anyone about that it should be @countryside he’s the first person to put a video on you tube how to make them
Great setup! What size trailer?? I love the v3 racks and that stand on mower is a beast🤘
This trailer is 6x8 but it’s for leaf clean ups now cause I upgraded. Love my Wright mowers I have 2 now
Nice set up! How is that Milwaukee mower with wet grass? I run a turfmaster 30 and might be interested on a battery 21 for the future.
Tbh I only bought it bc I already owned lots of Milwaukee tools and I figured it would be nice to have more Milwaukee batteries. It’s not that great of a mower.
Neat setup. #keepcuttin
Thanks man
Can you attach a link to the green guard flap on your zk I can't find it anywhere.
Ty, Jw
I’m sorry I bought it on eBay… but I recommend advanced Shute my green guard doesn’t have air flow and that’s very important.
where do you put your mower when you fill your trailer up with leaves?
Sometimes I leave it at the yard go dump then come back for it, or fill up my truck bed first and hope it don’t fill the trailer.
Nice
Thank you!
I have the same setup as you but I have a red max blower and echo 9010 and the mower same
I should have gotten a better weeder mine sucks lol
Ya used fence pickets for your walls?
No 4’x8’ plywood sheets

You silly in Wisconsin we don’t need a trailer plate for utility trailer
I’m silly cause my state requires it? I think you may be short a few brain cells
Nice set-up but I don't have that type of cash to spend
I didn’t at first either.
Dude I started out of the trunk of my car in 2021. Just a 22 inch mower, trimmer and hand blower. You can do it.
@@cleancutslawncare same I had a push mower and a broom

Goes in the back of my truck
ohh gotcha ok
DEWOLFIE SOLO LAwn care you gained a new auv nothing wtong with a good old gas mower

Solo setup my butt. Lol. A solo setup is a push mower weed eater and blower. Most people watching this is trying to start into this business. You probably just scared everyone off. lol.
Solo people can’t have zero turns? 😂 I know soooooo many solo ppl that have zero turns.
You don’t need 20k to start a business I got a cub cadet z force sx60 and a cub push mower and and a 6 x12 ulitity trailer
I started with a 20$ push mower and a broom.
#awkward
One of the first videos on my channel, sorry it’s not the best.
