If 2 chains are really loose and or the deck chains looks like the are slanted to the right or left instead of up and down, run it has frame issues. Ask me how I know. I spent $4k on a 52” Vride 2 with a bent frame. Spent $240 for 2 hours of shop time for my local dealer to level it out.

Many valid points you stated. There are so many benefits being legit. It so nice to get mower and equipment loans at 0% interest. The biggest for me is paying self employment tax towards SS. In 7 years at 62, I can start collecting plus all the other benefits including Medicare at 65.

The second way you’re kind of discussing is whats referred to as a pass through entity. Form an LLC and all of the funding and profit is transferred directly to you, no business bank account to siphon from or deposit into. You pay out of pocket for everything, people pay YOU directly. However, you pay taxes in March as yourself and as you said, you don’t get access to lines of credit and things acting AS the business. That method isn’t lying…unless you lie about it of course.

Do you file ssa tax? So you can collect ssa when you retire.

Build a mower box on the front of your trailer and set up a solar charging station on a shelf in the mower box. Super easy to do and you never have to worry about battery charge.

Christmas lights, snow, dock install/removal

Probably best to hold off on doing the snow removal stuff until you have the landscape business in good order. If you plan on working at Canteen year round then you definitely cannot do plowing (in a bad winter you can be in a plow truck for days on end almost 24 hours with little notice). But building out the lawn care business definitely makes the most sense considering you already have a great foundation and the potential to scale without having to add a lot of debt.

You got REAL excited about that place REAL quick. The second I saw that place and you mentioned it wasn’t worth asking price I thought, “yeah, don’t do this man..” It’s cool to be an investor, but you know.. know your limits with opening all kinds of ventures and getting too excited about things. It can bankrupt you pretty damn quickly. I watch your channel for the lawn care stuff, all the rest of it seems like grasping at extra. You’re not even “there” yet, you’re still in the first few years of things right? Don’t wear yourself too thin and focus on what’s actually making you money right now and what you actually have time for. I totally respect the hustle, but stay focused, save money and contemplate that plowing thing, I think that is a good off-season venture IF you see enough regular snow each season. Turbo diesel is the way to go if you need A truck. I didn’t start with two mowers, you don’t need multiple trucks right now when you’re just starting. The plows and stuff themselves will be more than enough expense anyway.

Great to see you back but maybe keep the videos connected. In a prior video you mentioned you were buying a car wash business and then the next video said nothing about it and said you are hoping someday to open a landscape supply company. Probably have a video before that on the the details of what happened when you talked to the bank and why you decided to scrap it. Just a little advice as a loyal viewer.

Are you going to still do the car wash? I would think if you had to spend money on getting that going you wouldn't have any money left to start this business.

Look at the numbers will it be profitable? If you gotta buy the land it may take longer to see return on investment. I’d go for it tho, even if you have to lease the location. Could be a decent return, do you have a skid steer to load?
